Callie walked into Arizona's room as she slept in her hospital bed and gently squeezes her left foot feeling how cold it was and pulled the blanket over it more to keep her warm, as she made her way to the head of the bed and stroked Arizona's cheek with the back of her fingers lightly as she leaned down to kiss her.
"Sweetie." Callie says trying to wake her gently
Arizona struggles to wake up and turns her head for Callie to kiss her again.
Callie smiles and kisses her again "Come on baby open those beautiful blue eyes."
Arizona opens her eyes "Hey." She smiles
"Hey how are you feeling babe?" Callie asks feeling her forehead
"Good, really good."
"Good, So Bailey told me about your visit with Sofia."
Arizona smiles "Yeah I'm really glad I got to see her for a little bit." She says patting the bed
"Sit." she tells Callie
"Shh, you rest sweetie." Callie says pulling the rolling stool over to the bed and sits down next to her
"Are you hungry at all babe because I can go and get you something now or I can cook you something and bring it to you later tonight after I get Sofia to sleep and the babysitter comes over?"
Arizona's stomach rumbles loudly.
Callie just chuckles "Well I think that answers the question."
Arizona rubs her stomach "I really haven't eaten since breakfast."
"Well what can I bring you?"
"Your Chicken Picatta?"
Callie smiles "Tell you what that is a lot of work but how about I promise to make that for you when you get home on your first night but in the mean time what can I go and get you?"
"Promise?"
"I promise." She smiles
Arizona thinks "What about a pastrami sandwich or corned beef sandwich from Stopsky's?"
"Now that I can do."
"Good, thank you Callie." She smiles
Callie leans in and kisses her.
Arizona holds her cheek and deepens it.
