Sisters
It was a lazy Sunday afternoon and Nick and Jackie as well as the kids just sat around.
Houston and Sloan were racing their toy cars around the living room while the girls watched them.
Hundley couldn't crawl yet but the baby had recently discovered she could get places by scooting around on her little behind and she thought she was very clever.
Suddenly she scooted over and intercepted Sloan's car mid race.
"Hey, Hundy, that mine." The little boy exclaimed.
Nick and Jackie looked at each other and tried not to laugh.
He went over and took his car back and then the baby started to cry.
"No cryin Hundy, that mine." He said, clearly not very sympathetic.
"Sloan do you have a different car she could play with that you are not using?" Jackie asked.
"Yeah." Sloan said as he went and grabbed a different car and gave it to his baby sister.
Hundley grinned widely at him.
"Aww that's a nice big brother." Jackie praised.
Jackie then went and grabbed the baby so she could keep a closer eye on her while she had the car, it was small and Hundley put everything in her mouth so Jackie wanted to watch her closely.
She sat down on the couch with the baby on her lap and took the car and gently started moving it back and forth on her legs.
The baby squealed happily, she took the car from Jackie and she too started moving it back and forth and then she grinned at Jackie, seeming very proud of herself.
"Is that fun?" Jackie asked with a chuckle.
The happy grin on the baby's face told her that it was in fact a blast.
"Donna." Houston said suddenly.
Johnna had been watching the boys race their cars and her foot accidently hit Houston's car, making it careen to the side.
"Sorry, it was accident." Johnna said.
Nick looked at Jackie and smiled.
"At times when we were growing up my sister's drove Matt and I crazy too." Nick whispered in her ear.
Jackie laughed.
Jackie loved watching her kids interact and play together, she hated not having a sibling when she was little and she was glad her children did, and it was so nice that her kids got along so well, most of the time anyways!

*Here is something interesting I discovered. I made a pretty glaring mistake in my story called "While the Parents are Away" At the end of my story Jackie's parents are talking about the chances of Nick and Jackie having any more children. They also talk about catching Roger and Jill (Nick's parents) for number of grandchildren. What I didn't think about is they will never catch Roger and Jill, no matter how many children Nick and Jackie have because Jackie is an only child, meaning that any grandchild Jackie's parents have will be her children, and obviously Nick's. Well any child that Nick and Jackie have will also be Nick's parent's grandchild too. I was shocked none of you caught that-I have since fixed it but I just thought it was funny!
