Crossing Jupiter
Driving the ship
down the Milky Way
The ultimate experience.
Leaving Earth
Shoot for the stars
Fly past the moon
A dream fulfilled
The ultimate happiness.
A new planet
Just discovered
Never seen before
by human eyes
The ultimate wonder.
Covered in grass and water
Green trees everywhere
Is it paradise?
I wonder to myself
The ultimate astonishment.
((Who are you?))
A voice in my head.
I scream.
What was that?
The ultimate fear.
"I am from Earth,"
I whisper back
Silence only disturbed
by someone coming towards me
The ultimate shock.
An alien, blue and light brown fur
No mouth, extra eyes
Four legs, centaur-like
A centaur with a scorpion-like tail.
The ultimate warrior.

the alien says
The voice is only
inside my head
The ultimate discovery.

he continues
I slowly walk towards him
It's a male, I'm sure
The ultimate curiousity.

A/N: The story behind this? Simple. At school, in English class, we were assinged to do a story, article or poem, whereas we could choose between different topics. I chose the task where I was to start out with the title "The ultimate travel", and make something out of that. It could be outer space, on a cruise ship, or whatever could fit it. I decided on a poem, and outer space. I just HAD to do something Animorphs-related to make the day worth getting out of bed. Guess what? I did. To be honest, I finisherd this thing the same day, at school, whereas most of the others had to use all the time they had. This thing just popped into my mind at once I got the assignment.
