Set between Blindspot and Sirencall. After her abduction Eames realizes how much joy life can have, while Bobby can only see how much pain it holds with his mothers impeding death. This story is for those who have looked at death as the best way out. We have fought death and won. Only those who have been pulled back from the edge, can find true joy in a rain shower.
Rain
He sat staring out the window at the rain, wondering about death, wishing he could fade away into nothing.
She stood in the rain on her driveway, thinking about life, thanking the heavens she had one to enjoy.
He lifted his face from the window, because it was leaking and he didn't want to get wet.
She lifted her face to the sky, and let the rain pour down it, welcoming the wetness.
He tried to hide his tears of sadness.
She smiled through her tears of joy.
He didn't know how to handle the future.
She was finally learning to let go of the past.
He had never faced death so strong.
She had used all her strength to escape it.
He was afraid.
She was hopeful.
But he was there for her, on the road to recovery, and she would be there for his spiral down, and his climb back up.
He sat staring out the window at the rain, wondering about death, wishing he could fade away into nothing.
She stood in the rain on her driveway, thinking about life, thanking the heavens she had one to enjoy.
Really they weren't all that different, and the important thing was, they had each other, and they wouldn't be alone.
I dedicate this story to one of my dearest friends, you never judged me, you cared that I was hurting, and you helped save my life. I want you to know how much that means to me, and I want you to know, your never alone.
And of course those of you who took time out of your busy schedule to read this, please R&R.
