The Rime of the Potions Master

The scary Potions Master in his hole,
will seem to shoot down your every goal.
He'll strike with his wit and venomous tones,
voice dripping with sarcasm, razor sharp tongue.

The years roll by in deepening darkness,
the dark man carrying on regardless.
Turns out to be even worse than he seemed,
Dark Lord achieves what he'd only dreamed.

It all came down in an earth-shattering wave,
His true allegiances – not what he gave.
By giving his life for unexpected cause,
the best guarded secret that's ever been known.

AN: I have no idea where this came from... It just came to me when I was sitting on a deserted island - and that's not even a joke! :O
