Mephiles: the dark
Life without purpose means nothing. No man can be born instinctively with purpose. I believe that we live to find our purpose in life. Sonic, however will never find purpose in life. What does he live for? After my suffering at the hands of that damned hedgehog I have realized that my purpose in life is to kill Sonic the Hedgehog. I am Mephiles the dark and that is my philosophy on life.
Act 1 Westopolis
Normal POV
Two G.U.N soldiers guarding the entrance to the town saw a black figure in the distance resembling Sonic.
"Sonic is that you?" Said the first soldier.
The mysterious figure killed the first soldier with a single blow. The second soldier was frozen with fear at the sight of his comrade's death. As the figure slowly began walking towards him, he began shooting at the figure.
"Who are you?" Asked the first soldier.
Once he had finally run out of ammo he closed his eyes and began to accept fate. Just as he thought he was going to die the mysterious figure went flying back and in front of him he saw none other than shadow the hedgehog.
"Tell me where Sonic is and I may spare your pathetic lives." Said the mysterious creature.
"In hell." Replied Shadow. "Chaos Spear!"
The mysterious hedgehog quickly dodged the blasts appearing in front of Shadow and grabbing him by the throat.
"TELL ME WHERE SONIC IS!" Mephiles said angrily.
"Chaos control." Said Shadow, disappearing from the hedgehog's grasp.
"Who are you and why do you look like sonic?"
"A naive one you are." Said the hedgehog
"Very well then, I'll have to make you talk the hard way."
The two clashed and continued to fight destroying the town in the process.
"Chaos blast!" Said shadow creating a large explosion of chaos energy that sent the hedgehog flying into the ground.
"It's over" said shadow pulling out his glock
"Chaos control." Said the hedgehog as Shadow was about to shoot pulling out an emerald and opening a space/time portal using Chaos Control.
"What the Hell?" Said shadow in shock as the hedgehog jumped in the portal.
Sonic arrived a few minutes later.
"Sonic, you're late." Said Shadow.
Sonic's POV
"Knuckles are you seeing the news?" I asked.
"Yeah Westopolis is being attacked and the whole town is wrecked. Shadow is fighting the attacker as we speak." Replied Knuckles.
"Let's go." I said.
We arrived at the scene a few minutes later I could make out a black figure from the distance. It was by Shadow. I was shaken with fear by the thought of what it might be that is fighting shadow but by the time I had arrived it disappeared.
"Sonic, you're late." Said Shadow
"What happened here? This place is destroyed." I replied
