A/N: It's been a long while...-_- So, on impulse, and guilt, this was produced.

I'm rating T just in case.

From Silence Comes Benefits
The setting: sunset, on the bridge unfrequented by commuters even during rush hours. A canal was flowing below, but even so, it was calm. A perfect stage. But perfection naturally comes with a slight flaw.
The problem was the silence.
Absolutely no reply or whatsoever. Just a blank stare looking down on her. That was what irked her the most. She wanted to speak or produce some noise to fill this deafening silence.
Yah, it sounds stupid, but what could she do? A book she read somewhere mentioned, "What's wrong with silence?" Hah, what's wrong indeed? So all she could do was wait and listen…for anything. Might as well make yourself comfortable right?
If you cannot despair, then I would rather ignore, she calmly states. In her head of course, because this is Silence now. Complete and absolute.
She pulled her shoulders back to make her look stronger than she feels. While doing so, she made a swift turn and attempted to walk off.
If he isn't going to give me an answer, I swear I'll – the thought was cut short. He embraced her tightly from behind. His strength was nevertheless, monstrous. The charm he carries himself with. The low growl as he nuzzled into her hair, "It's a man's job to confess."
Breathe in…breathe out. She's uncertain what her next move should be. Something rarely seen for a skilled fighter like her.
She pauses.
He waits.
She pursed her lips.
He snickered. And twisted her back to face him.
An arm snaked around her waist. The other cupped her head to bring her face closer. Simply leaning down, their tongues interlocked.
She couldn't tell if she's in love. She just felt a want. Not a need, yet, or lust if that mattered, just a want. And it became like this. His touch, slight nibbles, a tease, and slowly dragging to a rough dominance – one which she literally melted in. She sighed, contented, once they parted. Raspy breathes were made by her; however the man in front of her would show no signs of weakness.
This time, his lips were less than an inch from her ear, "So, her highness likes it rough, eh?"
Not giving her a chance to react, he gave the infamous smirk once again, and sauntered off with hands in his pockets. Kunieda stared blankly…at nothing. Silence once again engulfed her surroundings, but maybe, this time, it wasn't so bad after all.
A/N: Err...hahah?
Wait! I can explain! It was written after Mid-years exams was over, but I didn't publish it. Then I had to pack my desk (and floor) to prepare for incoming EOYs and there I found this story, squashed somewhere in between. Ta-dah!
Oh, I feel like changing the names a little, add some twist, and posting this story as a - ahem - Shizaya fanfic. Kya!
There's an omake to make up for the above failness and my rant. Comments, please?
Omake:
Baby Beel had a wonderful nap. After Aoi said some words, which made no sense to him, nothing happened. And that was where Baby Beel felt an urge to pee – badly. But! He remembers, something which was ingrained into him since episode four of the anime! That is to not pee in public places or Oga will get angry!
So our dear child held it in. As such, was slowly lulled into his dreamland of, Demon Lord knows what.
