Chapter 1: My Life
In my world Indigo's the sun and all our friends and family float around her like planets. I mean her middle name means sun. Have you ever heard your parents or grandparents say I love you all the same? Of course, you have I have too except when they say it they are lying.
Hi, my name's Violet Stella Spero. (Pronounced: Sta-la Spar-ro) My dad likes Latin a lot, so my name is mostly Latin. My name translated into English is Violet Star Hope. I have 2 sisters, they are my triplets the oldest is Indigo Solis Spero. (Pronounced: So-lee-ss) It means Indigo Sun Hope. Indi is 3 hours older than me next in line is me and then the youngest triplet by 55 seconds is Lilac Luna Spero, she was always impatient! (Pronounced: Lu-na) It means Lilac Moon Hope. I am writing this for my neighbour Clara, see I have one little problem I am and always have been jealous of Indi you see she's so goody-goody two shoes great at everything sort of person so Clara's helping me to stop being a green-eyed monster, she said writing down my thoughts would help. So, let's start!
"Star get ready for school!" said my mum "two more minutes!" I shouted back. Lilac pulled off my covers "I've been up since 5am for my morning run!" Lilac said. "Well I'm not you" I mumbled and turned over. "Come on Violet" said Indi sweetly has she put her wavy blonde hair in pigtails. Then Indi gave me a please look with her beautiful brown eyes. "Fine!" I said and got up. I got dressed brushed my chin length black hair. "Star we are late!" said Lilac "Go without me!" "I'll stay" offered Indi "You go". "Thanks Sun" I said under my breath. "Here are your trousers, I'll go get your breakfast!" then she shoved a cereal bar into my mouth, it got everywhere then we both burst out laughing. "Come on Moon's going to kill us!". On the way to school Jillian my best friend joins us. "Hi Vi! Indi! Where's Lils?" said Jillian "I was late so Indi stayed with me and Moon sped off" "Of course" added Indi. "Shoot we are 15 minutes late!" we all sped off and ran top sped into the 3rd classer's room. "We are so sorry we are late miss" said Indi as she shined her big brown eyes. "One more chance girls" said are teacher Miss Helton. "You said one more chance last time miss!" said Indigo's friend Henry. Indi shot him a death look. "Oh, and Indigo, Violet, Lilac happy birthday" said Miss Helton "Thank you miss" we said. Then she went back into teacher mode "Sit down Violet" I smiled and sat down beside Jillian.
After school we went to our normal activates that my sisters and I do. Lilac does athletics, Indigo does Brownies and I do art lessons with Clara. "Happy Birthday Vi!" said Clara. I smiled "thanks" I said while I hugged her. She gave me the most beautiful handmade card ever saying, "Happy Ninth Birthday Violet, my little star" "you're the best!" I said. She handed me another card saying 'Happy Birthday to the Hope sisters'. We painted a picture of Clara's cat then I checked my watch. "Shot we're overtime, see you Clara!". I walked out and bumped into Sean. I went red "sorry!" and walked inside. Close behind me was Indigo and Lilac. I opened the door. Inside a load of our classmates and friends shouted, "Happy Birthday!". We played party games and ate cakes. At about five in the evening everybody started to spill out. My mum brought us to the hair dressers because I wanted to get a purple streak in my hair. When we were finished we went home had dinner and went to bed.
