Warning: This fanfic contains a somewhat detailed birth, so if that's something that disgusts you, I don't recommend reading this fanfic.
Princess Peach was lying quietly in her bed with her hand placed on her belly, which was the size of a globe. Any minute, she was going to bring a new life into the world. Every few minutes, she would feel sharp pain for a few seconds. At one point, she closed her eyes and began to daydream about the events that led to this moment…
A few days had passed since Mario and Peach "had fun with each other," and Peach was constantly vomiting for many days straight. Mario was concerned, so he had Peach see a doctor. He was both happy and shocked when the doctor told him Peach was pregnant.
"I'm sorry, Peach," Mario said. "I just go so caught up in the moment that just forgot about using protection."
"Are you kidding?" Peach said, smiling. "Orgasm aside, the best thing that came from our night together is the thought that I'm carrying a new life now."
"Are you sure?" Mario asked. "Because raising a child is a big responsibility."
"Absolutely," Peach said. "Besides, if there's anyone I would want to have a child with before marriage, it's you, Mario."
"And I promise I'll be supportive of you, no matter what happens," Mario replied, placing his hand on Peach's stomach. Peach giggles.
Eventually, word got out that Princess Peach was pregnant and that Mario was the father. Despite the fact that Mario and Peach weren't married yet, everyone was supportive of the soon-to-be parents.
Present day (nine months later), Peach had decided to give birth in the comforts of her castle bedroom, with only Toadette and Mario as the only other people present. Peach had been sitting on her bed for god-knows-how-many hours straight wearing nothing but a pink t-shirt with an image of her crown. Toadette had the honor of being the one who delivered Peach's baby, so she was positioned near her pelvic area, which was exposed so Toadette could catch the baby. Toadette had been reading up on childbirth, so she was prepared for just about anything that may happen. Mario stood on the left side of Peach's bed, holding her hand as she went through each contraction.
"Hard to believe our baby is almost here," Peach smiled, looking down at here baby bump. Mario smiled rubbed his hand on Peach's belly.
"Pretty soon those nine months of back pain will be worth it," Mario said.
"Mario could you grab that hand mirror off that table over there?" Toadette asks. Mario goes to a table near one of the windows, takes the mirror from off of it, then hands it to Toadette.
"What do you need the mirror for?" Mario asked.
"Just in case the princess wanted to see her progress as she's pushing," Toadette answered.
Peach was astonished at the thought of that. "That's an option?"
"As a matter of fact, yes," Toadette replied. "Some mothers find this to be encouraging." Peach took a few seconds to do some breathing.
"You're going to do just fine, Peach," Mario said resting his hand on Peach's head.
"Thank you, Mario," Peach replied. "I'm sorry I haven't been my best for the past nine months."
"Don't worry about it, Peach. I love you."
"And I love you too." Mario and Peach shared a kiss just as the latter felt another sharp pain.
"Oof," Peach grunted as she spread her legs wide. "Toadette, I think I'm ready to push." Peach held onto Mario's hand.
"Okay then," Toadette said. "Feel free to start pushing." Peach took a huge breath in and bore down for ten seconds. She then stopped to take a breather. After a few seconds, Peach decided to give another push.
"You're doing great, Princess," Toadette said. She could see a tiny portion of a baby's head emerging from Peach's anatomy. Toadette then holds her hands out as Peach gives another push. With each push, slightly more of the baby's head emerges.
"Would you like to take a look?" Toadette asks Peach, who nods. Toadette faces the mirror toward Peach and angles it so that Peach could see what Toadette was seeing clearly. The baby's head was now halfway out. Fascinated, Peach reaches down to try and touch the head before resting her hand on her leg. Mario was likewise amazed at how far Peach was coming along. Peach gives another push, which was enough to make the head fully emerged. Toadette was now cupping the baby's head with both of her hands.
"There it is!" Toadette said. "Just one or two more pushes should do it!"
Peach closed her eyes and pushed for what felt like forever. She stops then gives another push before hearing a baby's cry fill the room. She opens her eyes to find Toadette holding a wet baby still attached to its umbilical cord.
"It's a girl," Toadette smiled tearfully. Peach was also crying with joy, followed by Mario seconds later. Toadette takes a few minutes to cut the umbilical cord and clean up the baby before wrapping her in a blanket and handing her to Peach.
"She's beautiful," Mario cried. "Excellent job, Peach."
"Thank you," Peach replied.
"Congratulations, you two," Toadette said, also crying.
"Thank you, Toadette," Peach said. "And thank you for your help in delivering our little bundle of joy." Toadette smiles then leaves the room to give the new family some time alone, as well as inform the rest of the castle that the birth was a success. Peach turns to Mario.
"So, what shall we name her?"
You know what? I'm going to leave the baby's name for you readers to decide! Anyway, so what did you think of this fanfic?
