In an Instant

Gareas felt the impact, of Ernest's fist coming in contact with his stomach. "Ernest?" He said, falling to the ground. He glanced at his repairer Leena, and quickly made a motion with his hand, ushering her out of the scene. He need to talk to the blonde pilot.

"I know what you mean, Ernest...And, I'm sorry.." Gareas said trying to stand up on his own but failing. The blonde offered him a hand which startled the pilot but he took it nonetheless, and was pulled to his feet by his comrade.
"Galu, I wouldn't do this... But you're being reckless." Gareas felt cornered by his friend who was all to close to him.
"I know.." He whispered, softly. "I..won't do so again.."

Ernest nodded, sending his blonde locks out of place. "Garu... I just don't want to see you hurt... You're..." He cut his words off directing his azure gaze away from the other pilot... The only person he loved, in such a manner.

"I'm what?" Gareas asked, his tone wavering with uncertainty that didn't suit the reckless teen.

Ernest leaned closer, to Garu, so close, their breath was mingling and Garu's heart was beginning to race with raw felt anticipation. When the blonde's lips met his softly, Garu felt a wave of peacefulness wash over him. It was so light, and soft, Garu barely noticed when the kiss ended. "Garu.. I apologize. That was uncalled for.." Ernest said his face flushing crimson.

"You... Don't need to apologize to me..." Garu told the blonde pilot.

"Yes.. I do. It was uncalled for... I shouldn't have-" Ernest was silenced as Garu pulled him closer. "Sh... Don't say anything.." Gareas whispered, kissing his friend fully. After a few moments the emerald haired pilot pulled away a small grin on his face, "Garu, I'll see you around..." Ernest whispered pulling away and walking off in his usual graceful manor.
