This is the seond of Rose Stetson's 12 word challenges. We literally took the dictionary, opened it to random pages, and picked out 12 words we HAVE to use within the course of a drabble. My words were; cha-cha, ephermeral, fated, fingerboard, godmother, jai lai, neurotic, raison d'etre, shiitake, syndrome, tabular, and TAC. I have put them in bold so they are easier to spot. If you want to find these words and many other, just look them up in Webster's Dictonary.
"Daniel, I think your fairy godmother failed you in the cha-cha department!" Jack said.
"It's not my fault I have Caucasian Rhythum Syndrome...my family's got it. It's a tabular condition!"
"Sure, Daniel...this was probably one of your ephemeral hopes, never fated to be..." Jack chuckled.
"It's not my fault the only people who can dance are neurotic!" the anthropologist sulked.
Jack glared at him.
"Danny Boy, either give me a raison d'etre or I will send you bouncing out of here like a jai lai ball and your shiitake mushroomed self will only be able to analyze fingerboard charts!"
"Your accent is horrible, and you're mean." Daniel sulked.
"The commander of the TAC can dance better than you." Jack scoffed.
"That's because he has no life." Daniel muttered.
