"KILL HIM." Cloverstar says. Poppypaw looks behind him and sighs. "Fine…" He starts to walk off. I fell my heart beating. It felt like forever until the leader walked away in the opposite direction. I slowly walked out of the bush I was hiding in. I start to follow the path I saw. I walk slowly and cautiously, there could be a patrol cat anywhere.

"Listen, I can't let you go just like that. I need to ask... Why did you leave? I mean, You were next in line to be the leader! And Tallstar was old. He was on his 9th life… and you gave all that up? To me?" He said in a questioning voice. " What do you mean to you?" She asked. " It's exactly as it sounds! After you left Tallstar gave it all to me! I'm not that old childish Shadowpaw anymore…. No… I'm Shadowstar now! you could have been… Nightstar… But you decided to go by Click? What a stupid name if I say so myself…" He stopped. " Well?" He waited for a response. "I- I need to ask you something…" She says. " What?" He asks. "I-I need you to h-help me…." She struggled to say each word. "What?!" Shadowstar was rightfully confused. All there life they competed to see who was the better cat. My mother always won and never really needed help. "Oh look… little miss perfect needing help? What do you want?!" He said in a menacing voice. "I want you to help me find my son…" Shadowstars expression was very confused. "What?" He laughed. " Just, please! You were always better at finding!" She yells while cries. Shadowstar looked as she broke down. " I can't just leave my clan!" He said. She got up. "You could just put the deputy in charge while you're gone!" She exclaimed. " Clans don't work that way! I can't just leave for a while and make someone else leader for a day!" He yelled. They argued for a little until Shadowstar finally complied " Fine, but this better not take long…"

I kept walking until I hear my stomach growl. I see some berries on a nearby bush. Good enough I thought. I pick a berry of a bush. It was a little sweet and sour. My mom always told me to not eat berries off of bushes unless you know its safe. But I didn't think anything of it. They just tasted like not fully ripe strawberries. It was getting dark. I looked around for a place to stay for the night. " Hmmmmm…" I kept looking until I saw a bird. It looked like it broke its wing. I was still very hungry. I stalked through the grass while the bird stood helplessly on the ground. I pounced. Just then a figure pinned me to the ground. He stares. My eyes open wide when I realize who it was.
