Boy Meets World
"Five Things That Never Happened to Jack and Eric"
Summary: Five possibilities that never were. Ever!
Rating: K+ (in which things are implied, but not spoken)
Disclaimer: I don't own them. I don't even own the 'five thing' concept. I
suck, greatly.
Thanks to: Mizz Marvel, who gives me whoo-hoos, and Sugar, who cracks the whip (I love it, I
really do!).
1.
"Well, that was awkward."
"Yeah. Huh. Maybe we are just close friends."
2.
"Hey, you're Eric, right?"
"Yeah..."
"I'm Jack. We were roommates in college?"
"Oh yeah, the one we never saw. How's everything?"
"Good, good. And you?"
"Great! Rachel and I are expecting number three any day now."
"Congrats! Well, it was nice seeing you. Take care."
"You too."
3.
"Well, what'd they say?"
Jack hung up the phone. "I don't know why I was so worried. They said
they'd love for you to come."
"That's great." Eric put his arms around his boyfriend. "Good to
know at least one set of our parents accept us."
4.
"I don't see how he stays so calm!" Rachel said admiringly.
"I know! With all of those wacky schemes and what not, you think he'd be
stone crazy." Topanga shook her head, smiling.
"Well, he's always been like that. We used to call him 'the Zen
master'." Shawn laughed as chaos swirled around Eric, and his calm
exterior never crumbled.
"I'd hate to see the event that would rile him up." Rachel said.

The judge came back in the room. "I've heard both sides, and I'm ready to
rule. Since one of the children was fathered by each of you, I'm splitting
custody on a rotating biweekly schedule. Holidays and summer,
half each year. In two years, when the twins are thirteen, we will
reevaluate. Court dismissed."
Jack glared over as he led Rachel and the new baby out of the courtroom.
"I'll contest this. They don't need to be in a degrading
environment!"
Eric stared after him, wondering where it had gone so wrong.
