All he could do was stare at the beautiful women next to him. That was the face of his best-friend whom he secretly loved. The only people that knew were his best-friend Ron and his god-father Sirius Black and probably a few other people who saw him staring. He sighed. He knew he could never have her. But still he stared at her, he still loved her.

She wished he would return her feelings. She really truly loved him. Only Ron and Ginny and Mrs. Weasley knew how much she loved him. She knew he would never feel the same way. She sighed and continued reading her book until she felt Harry watching her.

She looked up, smiled, and asked, "What?" He continued staring at her. Their faces inching closer and closer.

By this time they were an inch apart. They're lips met into a light kiss and they both quickly pulled away. Hermione's face got red as did Harry's but still they stared into each other's eyes and Harry whispered, "I love you."

She smiled and said, "I love you to." And they shared another kiss neither of them knowing to very surprised people were watching them. Ginny smiled and whispered "Ron you owe me 10 galleons!"

"Wha- why-oh-that can't we forget about that bet?"

"Nope."

"Damn... Here" He handed her 10 galleons.

They looked and saw Harry and Hermione cuddling in front of the fire and they crept up to their rooms. Harry and Hermione stayed like that all night.
