Me: Another one-shot for Erica :)
Valentine's Day:
It's February 14th in Upperland and Erica is indulging Colby's wish to bring the yearly holiday of Valentine's Day to Underland, or as sh calls it 'Wonderland.' As they pack heart-shaped tins of cookies and cards decked with red and pink Erica can't help but think that this will be the first Valentine's Day she'll have actually had someone worth spending it with. Of course her thought it shattered as Colby trips and nearly falls to the ground with a glass bowl and Erica once again has to catch her before she hurts herself. "You alright there Rapunzel?" She asks, letting go of the long golden-brown hair that she has grabbed to stop her friend in her tracks.
"Yeah," Colby says with a sigh of relief, "that'd have been the third bowl today." Erica rolls her eyes and takes the bowl from her friend.
"Better let me take it from here, Urkel." Colby sticks out her tongue and the girls head out to the forest and through the rabbit hole, landing on a perfectly placed mattress and exiting through a very tiny door only to grow large again by eating two cakes from a waiting box. They head quickly for the palace, Colby, annoyingly to Erica, skipping (and stumbling) the whole way.
Once inside they call a meeting, Colby bouncing excitedly as they explained the holiday. "Basically," Erica sums up, "it's a day to give useless shit to sometimes not useless people." The Underlandians clap and Colby begins handing out cards. When everyone but Hatter has received one, he stares expectantly at the girls. Colby hands him a card and you can see she's trying desperately not to giggle. Erica shoves her back a little and Tarrant open the card, reading aloud.
"I don't think you're totally useless, - Erica. Erica Carfer." Erica slaps her forehead.
"Carter. Erica Carter," she corrects him, but his gaze is beaming.
"You don't think I'm totally useless?" He says in a joyous voice. Erica blushes and all of Underland gasps as she kisses his cheek.
"What?" She turns and asks them angrily. "Tough girls can't be sweet?"
