Another stroll down the hallway, past the computer club to the infamous SOS brigade. I still ask myself why I continue to go to that horrible place and fall as a victim to another one of Haruhi's twisted games. Any way I made my way to the club, hopefully it would be a quite and uneventful day. The one thing I did look forward to was seeing Mikuru. She would most likely have the maid outfit on that Haruhi forced her to wear. But that was somewhat good for me… Also in the club would be Koizumi, setting up another useless game. He all ways won, why even bother playing? And of course Yuki would sit in her normal corner and read through another book.
I stood outside the door, hesitating to go in. Who knows what was going on behind that door? When I reassured myself that it was ok to go in I turned the knob and opened the door, everyone was doing exactly what they do everyday well, accept Haruhi. She had her head buried in the computer screen, which she had stolen from the helpless computer club. I sat down in my normal chair across from Koizumi and sighed. "What's wrong Kyon? Did you have a hard time on the math test?" Koizumi asked. He was setting up a game of chess for us to play. "No, it wasn't hard at all. It was just long." I said. He had that smile on his face again. "Haruhi didn't think it was so easy." Mikuru's shy voice said as she carried over the tea. Figures Haruhi didn't do well on it. She never pays any attention in that class.
About 5 minutes of peace passed before Haruhi jumped up from her computer with a huge grin on her face. "Alright everyone! We haven't had a field trip in a while so who wants to go somewhere on the long weekend coming up?" That's right! I had completely forgotten about the 3 days our school was giving us off. "And where exactly would we go?" I asked. I don't really want to go anywhere this weekend. "We have been invited to stay at my uncles vacation house! Its on an island and its only a few hours away from Koizumi's apartment."
Sounds like another murder mystery. "I'll go, a get away sort of sounds like fun." Koizumi said. "I'll go…" Yuki said, her voice was still emotionless. "I will go to if Kyon goes." Mikuru said. I was probably blushing. After all the girl of my dreams said that she would go on a trip if I went along to. "Well Kyon? Are you gonna go or not?" Haruhi said. "I guess I'll go." How bad could it be? Haruhi smiled. "OK then! We leave tomorrow! Early to! So every on get a good nights sleep and we'll meet at Koizumi's house! This club meeting is dismissed!"
The girls left to go get packed for the three-day trip up ahead while Koizumi and I stayed behind to clean up the club. "The trip ahead will be pretty interesting…" Koizumi said as if talking to himself. I hated to ask but I wanted to. "What do you mean Koizumi?" I asked. He looked up at me, his usual smile away from his face. "Its nothing, I was talking to my self." He lying… "I see." Something was troubling him.
"Hey Kyon…"
"Yeah?"
"You really like Miss Asahina, don't you…"
Before I could say anything he left. What goes on in your brain koizumi, I will never know…
