"Hello there! I'm Buddy the writer. Today I have world-famous master chef Gino here and he's going to tell you the story of how and why he became a world-famous master chef." "Hello...HELLO...hello? Is this thing on?" The strange Italian man said. "What thing Gino?" "Be quiet while I'm telling a story!" He shouted in his funny accent. "Oh, it started?! Sorry." Buddy looked down at his hands. "Ahem... it all started back when I was a little boy. I lived on a farm with my mama and papa I was so happy. although the only thing from then that I really remember is the veggie tales. Ah what joy! Until one day my mama got sick and my papa came in right in the middle of the theme song and said 'Gino! Turn that off I'm not going to deal with this Tv thing anymore! You must become a man!' The last thing I ever heard was 'if you like to waltz with tomatoes.'" The Italian man sang over and over. "Ahem sorry. I got a little carried away." "Oh so is that why you have such delicious tomato sauce?" Buddy smiled. "No that probably really has nothing to do with anything I don't even know why I told it to you!" Gino chuckled. "Anyway the next day I saw my precious Tv and videos being dumped into the back of a garbage truck." Gino said as a tear rolled down his cheek and landed in his mustache. He took off his hat so Buddy did also. "It was a sad, sad day." He put his chefs hat back on. Buddy did also, slightly confused. "A few weeks later my mama died too." The strange chef sniffed. "My dad was not very kind to me after that and he made me cook and clean in my mama's place." "So that's when you learned to cook?" Buddy asked hopefully. "Exactly you catch on quick funny little boy." Buddy smiled then he frowned and then became confused again. "As the years went by my father and I lived on that farm doing the same thing every day never going anywhere. Then when I was about fifteen my fathered grew ill and on his death-bed he told me "Gino?" "Yes, papa?" "I *cough* *cough* want you...to...go forth and...cook...chicken..." "papa? But you hate chicken?"... And he never said anything ever again." Gino said after acting out the scene from his childhood. "So then I lost the farm not knowing what to do since I never worked on it or knew how to do anything with money. So I packed a sack and headed off into the unknown." Gino smiled proudly. "Wow! weren't you scared Gino?" Buddy asked his eyes wide. "Chef Gino? Never!... until the giant red bug with black spots chased me! It was terrifying! I ran all the way to town. That's when I saw Rosaline! Oh she was such a beautiful flower! But alas, she already had a boyfriend." Chef Gino looked longingly out into space. "That's too bad. What did she look like?" Buddy asked curiously. "She had long, soft, curly red-brown hair. She had soft, fair skin and red lips. Her eyes were green and bright and they sparkled when she looked at me..." Gino smiled. "that was probably the happiest moment of my life." Buddy tilted his head. "But?... you never even dated her or anything? did you?" Gino's eyes widened. "of course not! why would i do something like that?!" Buddy frowned sadly, as he contemplated his life. "anyway, I kept walking til I met a strange man." Gino chuckled. "He showed me how to toss dough. He showed me because he needed someone to work in his restraunt. I was about to say no, when i found out he was Rosaline's papa! So immediately i said yes! and i stayed there for two years working in his restraunt." "so did you then fulfil your papa's wish for you to 'go forth and cook chicken'? and realize that you wanted to become a chef?" Buddy smiled, exclaiming and waving his hands around. Gino frowned. "no, he owned some taco joint. my quest was not yet complete."
