This is the first of eight battles. Ash has to beat all of the gym leaders. There will be eight chapters and this is the first. Keep checking in to see the rest!!

A young boy walked into a large room. The boy was about fourteen years old and had black hair and black eyes. He wore his hat sideways. The room had rocks and boulders all over. The boy walked up to a girl about seventeen. She wore a Plaid skirt and tie and a white t-shirt. She had a black ponytail.
"Hi, I'm Roxanne," she said.
"Hey, I'm Ash," said the boy. "Now I challenge you to a Pokémon battle."
"O.K. I accept your challenge," Roxanne defended.
Each trainer spread out and chose their Pokémon.
"Squirtle, I choose you," Ash yelled!
A small blue turtle came out of a poke ball.
"Machop," Roxanne yelled!
A rock shaped human figure came out of her poke ball. Ash told his Squirtle to use water gun. A squirt of water flew at Machop. He jumped over it and threw a rock at Squirtle and hit him in the face. The Squirtle landed on its feet and charged at the Machop for a counter attack. The Machop used a mega punch at the charging Squirtle, but the Squirtle used a withdraw attack and returned to its shell. Machop punched the shell but only hurt itself. The Squirtle used water gun hitting the Machop in the nose. Machop flew backwards hitting the wall and was quickly knocked out.
"My Machop," Roxanne screamed!
Both trainers drew their Pokémon back. Roxanne sent out Geodude. A floating rock with arms took the field. Ash sent out a Beautifly. The butterfly looking creature was beautiful as it flew above the Geodude. It started throwing rocks at the Beautifly, but Beautifly swiftly dodged the rocks until it released a powder that poured onto the Geodude. The Geodude started to fall asleep. The Beautifly began to absorb light and finally shot out a ray of light unleashing a solar beam. The Geodude was destroyed instantly.
The trainers both returned their Pokémon. The next Pokémon Roxanne sent out was Nosepass. The small figure had a large nose. Ash sent out his, a small looking acorn, called Seedot. Nosepass jumped up and down and started an earthquake. The Seedot just stored his energy and got hit by the earthquake and threw it against the wall. Nosepass had to regain its power. After a few minutes Nosepass was recharged and Seedot stored enough energy. They both charged at each other. Seedot
used Bide and Nosepass used take down. There was a puff of smoke and the room shook. After the smoke cleared up the winner of the round was… nobody. Both Pokémon were knocked out on the floor.
Ash won the game. Roxanne was out of usable Pokémon.
"Good job," confessed Roxanne.
"Yes! I did it," Ash whispered to himself.
"I am proud to present to you with the Stone Badge" Roxanne said to Ash.
She got a case and opened it showing a shiny badge. Ash took it out of the case and put it in on his case. Ash thanked Roxanne and proudly left the gym with his new badge.
