Tony DiNozzo was in his apartment, cooking dinner for a romantic night with his girlfriend-correction: fake girlfriend, when it happened. He was adding the finishing touches on the Chicken Parmesan while Jeanne was looking for a movie to watch when someone knocked on the door.

'Hmm, wonder who that is? The team probably just left NCIS, so it's not one of them' Tony thinks to himself. "Can you get that Jeanne?"

Jeanne smiles. "Sure."

Jeanne opens the door to find a young woman there, pacing in front of the door, biting her nails. 'I just hope she's not an ex girlfriend' Jeanne thinks to herself. "Can I help you?"

Ziva looks up at her. "Where is Tony DiNozzo? I need to speak with Tony DiNozzo right now."

Jeanne studies her a minute before deciding it was urgent and nodding. "Come inside."

Jeanne smiles at Tony when she goes into the kitchen. "Who was it?"

"Some woman. I invited her inside, but she's got your name wrong. She's saying DiNozzo, not DiNardo. It's pretty close, I get why she would get mixed up."

Tony sighs and goes into the living room to find Ziva facing away from him, praying in Hebrew. "Hey David, did you have to interrupt my date night?" He asks with a smile on his face.

She doesn't turn around. "Well you didn't answer your phone."

"Right. It was dead and now it's charging. I figured I wouldn't need it until tomorrow at least. So what are you doing here?" Ziva finally turns around and Tony's shocked to see the vulenerbility written clear on her face. "Zi? What's wrong?"

"Tony." Tears run down her face as she whispers his name.

Tony holds her while she cries, much like when Mike Franks died. "You have to tell me who Ziva. I have to know." Tony pulls back slightly to study her eyes. "Tim?" She shakes her head. "Abby?" Another shake. "Ducky? Palmer?" Shake, shake. "Well who is it Zi? I know it can't be boss, he never gets..." His voice trails off when she avoids his gaze. "It's Gibbs?"

Ziva finally looks at him and instantly regrets it, seeing the fear and sadness mixed with tears in his eyes. "I'm sorry Tony. I-I know he's your mentor."

"What the hell happened?" He whispers moving the hair out of her face so he can see her eyes.

"We got a lead and we were taking down a suspect at a warehouse..."

"Ziva, did you call DiNozzo?" Gibbs asks Ziva as they drove to the warehouse.

"He's not answering Gibbs. Jenny did tell him to take the rest of the day off."

"Damnit. Well he shouldn't have turned off his phone!"

They arrived at the warehouse and Gibbs nodded at McGee and Ziva. "You two take the left side of the warehouse. I'll go to the right. Be careful, watch each other's backs."

"Uh Boss, I don't think that's such a..." McGee's voice trailed off once Gibbs glared at him. "Stay safe Boss"

Gibbs smirks. "Always McGee, always."

The two junior agents crept inside the warehouse's left entrance while their mentor entered the right. They saw their suspect holding waving a gun around, talking to their hostage. "Federal Agents! Drop the weapon!"

The suspect turned around to face them. "Go away! I said no police or... Or I'll blow her head off!" He yells pointing the gun at the Marine.

"We will shoot! Drop the weapon Corporal!"

He glared at them. "Don't call me that!" He yelled as a shot rang out.
