This is a very short one-shot about how I think the kiss scene between Shane and Mitchie should have gone in Camp Rock 2: the final jam. The start is the same basically.

"You know I was actually thinking of keeping this a a souvenir." Mitchie said as she and Shane were folding on of the camp rock banners.
Shane watched her as she placed the banner on the table behind her.
"I can't believe we lost." Shane said quietly as he leaned against a post.
"Not every song can be a hit you know." Shane signed remembering when he had told Mitchie that very same thing. "Isn't that what you told me?"
Mitchie got a sad, apologetic look on her face, looking directly at Shane. "I'm really sorry I didn't spend more time with you this summer." Mitchie looked down as if ashamed of herself.
Shane slowly lifted her head. "Hey the whole reason I came here, the whole reason my brothers came here is..."
"Was to get to know me better." Mitchie said stepping a little closer to him.
"Yeah it was and you know what I found. I found a girl who isn't afraid to fight for what she believes in or what she loves."
Shane slowly lent forward and kissed Mitchie. They both pulled back and smiled at each other.
"I really like the girl I found this summer." Mitchie looked up at him smiling.
"I still wish I had spent more time with you." with that they walked down to the campfire with everyone else.
