It was a beautiful day outside. The sun was shining at its best, the birds were chirping, flowers were blooming, and everything seemed happy.

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" Wolverine asked Storm practically yelling.

"I do not know what you are talking about, Logan," Storm said in her usual calm tone.

"Don't give me that crap, Ro, I saw you with that what's-His-Face!"

"You saw me? Where?"

He paused for a second to think of what to tell her. He couldn't just tell her that he was spying on her. She'd never forgive him for that.

"I……ummm…… that's not the point! The point is that he isn't right for you Ro. I just want what's best for you, and he isn't it!"

"How do you know he is not right for me?"

"I just know, OK!"

"That is not an answer Logan, now give me a real answer or just stay out of my business!"

She was mad now, he could tell. In fact, he was the only one that could tell when she was mad, sad, happy, and any other emotion that she could possibly feel.

"I just…..." he hated not having a proper answer to her question, but that happened so often when he was talking to her. He felt nervous next to her, a beautiful, smart, and funny woman. He hated feeling that way, he hated falling in love.

"You just what?"

"I just……don't want you to get hurt again, Ro. It pained me so much to see you cry over Forge. After what he did to you, I swore to make anyone else who hurts you again, pay. It's just not right for someone as beautiful as you to get hurt. I'm sorry, but it's just that you mean so much to me to allow you getting hurt like that."

He couldn't believe he just spoke out his feelings to her, but yet, it felt so…….right.

"Logan, I……."

She had no words to what Logan just confessed. He practically said that he loved her. She had no answer to his words.

"Ro, I……I love you. I know you don't love me back, but I thought that-"

Just then, she kissed him. She kissed him with so much love and passion. It felt so good.

"What was that for?" he asked startled.

"Oh, you did not want me to kiss you?" she asked holding back a smile.

"No, it's not that, I mean I loved it when you kissed me, but I never thought you would kiss me like that."

"Oh, well, then I guess I will not kiss you again," she said jokingly.

"No, no. You don't have to do that. I loved that kiss and I want to give you a lot more, and…."

She kissed him again.

"You talk too much," she whispered to him. He just smiled.

Time passed, and Storm and Wolverine were officially boyfriend and girlfriend. They were at the park enjoying the beautiful day. The sun was shining at its best, the birds were chirping, and flowers were blooming.

"Logan, I… want to thank you for what you told me that day. I never thought you cared so much about me to say that. It meant a lot to me. Thank you."

"I just said what I felt. I was being honest."

"Well, I appreciate your honesty." She smiled at him, and then kissed him.

"I love you and I promise I will never hurt you. You mean so much to me. I'll never let you go." He hugged her.

"I love you, Logan, like you will never know."
