This Is To The Digidestined

In honor of Digimon Day, I wrote this just now. This expresses my heartfelt gratitude to all those within this speech.

Just my way of celebrating Digimon Day. I hope you enjoy. (I don't own Digimon, by the way.)

This is to all the Digidestined out there, whether they be Tamers, DATS agents, Legendary Warriors, or Xros Generals, or even some Chosen Children sucked into the Digital World. I thank you for the hope, courage, friendship, reliability, love, sincerity, light, kindness, and knowledge you have shared with the world since 1999; 16 years ago. Taichi Yagami, Tai, Matt, TK, Sora, Mimi, Kari, Joe, Izzy, Ken, Davis, Yolei, Cody, Takato, Rika, Henry, Suzi, Ryo, Takuya, Koji, Koichi, JP, Zoe, Tommy, Marcus, Thomas, Yoshino, Mikey, Angie, Jeremy, Tagiru, and everyone else; thank you.

This is to all those involved with the Digidestined: the loving parents, supporting siblings, the old fisherman guy, the Digimon they encountered, Gennai and his crew. Thank you for being so helpful to the Digidestined and going out of your way to assist them.

This is to all the partner Digimon or Spirits: Zeromaru, Agumon, Gabumon, Palmon, Gatomon, Biyomon, Patamon, Wormmon, Tentomon, Gomamon, Veemon, Hawkmon, Armadillomon, Guilmon, Calumon, Terriermon, Renamon, Lopmon, Cyberdramon, Agunimon, BurningGreymon, Lobomon, KendoGarurumon, Kazemon, Zephyrmon, Beetlemon, MetalKabuterimon, Kumamon, Korikakumon, Loweemon, JeagerLoweemon, Bokomon, Neemon, the baby Patamon, the DATS Agumon, Gaomon, Lalamon, Kudamon, Falcomon, Shoutmon, Cutemon, Dorulumon, Ballistamon, Gumdramon, and every other one. Thank you for guiding the Digidestined throughout their journeys and being by their side every step of the way.

This is to all the Digimon lost in battle: Wizardmon, Angemon, Sorcermon, the many Leomon, Gotsumon, Pumpkinmon, the many Numemon, Frigimon, and all the rest. I miss you all so dearly, rest in peace, my friends.

This is to all the Digidestined and their partners long forgotten by many: the original Digidestined, Taichi Yagami and Zeromaru, Tsurugi Tatsuno and Greymon, Yuu Inui and Gaomon, Ami Kitajima and Pichimon, Shou Kahara and Peckmon, Neo Saiba and Megadramon, Rei Saiba and Pal and Pul, Gabo, Gon, Lord Whamon, Starmon, Jijimon, The Alias III (Sigma and Piedmon, Hideto Fujimoto and Omnimon, and Mari Goutokuji and Rosemon), and all the rest. I still remember you and know your stories, you won't be forgotten.

This is to all the friends I made that taught me life lessons. This is to the children who gave me strength and a feeling of belonging.
