„You're not serious, are you? She will never get a boyfriend if she behaves like this. This girl is just too stubborn and aloof."
"Haha maybe you're right about that. She has a nice looking face though. Maybe we should cut it off. She doesn't need it anyways. "
"She's only studying all the time anyways. One useless girl we have there."
The girl was able to hear her classmates gossip but she ignored it easily. She just didn't care about it. Pushing up her glasses, she devoted herself to the book, which she had laid down on her desk, once again. Everyone she had gotten to know in this school so far was an idiot in her eyes. They were gossiping, bullying and acting immature even though they were already in High School. Hadn't had they some more productive things to do? But what did she expect anyways? They were just mere humans. None of them were special. Maybe there was someone exceptional on this planet right now but she just couldn't find a person like that. Someone who could impress her just didn't seem to exist. Someone who had a certain kind of aura.
"Geez…." The girl rubbed her eyes thinking,"I should have slept a bit more…" through the night she had read several books on the new history topic they would have to deal with.
Slowly the door of the classroom opened and the new history teacher entered class and everyone who was standing, went to their seats. A tall woman with brown and slightly wavy hair, piercing green eyes and porcelain-like skin. In awe the students looked at her. Girls, wanting to look like the woman in front of them and boys falling for her as soon as they saw her.
"Wonderful…"
"Beautiful…"
"Breath taking…"
"So pretty…"
Yet there was one person who didn't care about the teachers look. The aloof girl. Through the lesson the teacher got to know the students and conversely.

"Finally lunch break…" The girl got out of her seat and walked towards the door with a book under her arm and lunch in her left hand.
"Hey where are you going nerd?"
"Hang out with us." Two girls were stopping her from leaving, blocking the door.
"I'm sorry but I'd rather not. I'd like to spend my break alone."
"We're not asking you to. We're demanding it!"
"Leave me alone, please. It's not like you are interested in being my friends anyways. You want me to do your homework on a daily basis. Am I right about that?"
"No of course not. ",smirked the taller of the two girls." We're just interested in you." She grabbed the shoulder of the girl who was about to leave and pushed her against the nearest wall. "You're an eyesore. I'd love to throw you out of the window right away. From now on you're going to be my servant. Got it?"
"Ah, no thank you. I'm not going to be anyone's servant."
"Damn you! Do as you're told to! A nobody like you shouldn't be so cocky!"
"I'm not a nobody. You're one though. You act like this to fit in and be liked by your so called 'friends' because you're scared to be hated if you don't do as they expect you to, I on the other hand don't care about the expectations of others and do what I want to do. I'm way more special than you will ever be."
The so called "cocky" girl received a slap as soon as she had finished her sentence. She knew that she had said something, these girls wouldn't like to hear but in the end it was the truth and she didn't want to hold back her thoughts. Why would she anyways? Those girls deserved to know the truth about their idiotic behavior.
Shortly after that slap she was pulled out of the classroom. Since the hallway was almost completely empty the two bullies started to beat up the girl. Receiving blow after blow she crouched down in pain and to protect herself from the steady hits.
"Hey you're in the way!" A boy pushed the two girls out of his way. They fell to the side opposite of their current victim, which stood up slowly. The girls though ran away as soon as they saw the look on the face of the boy who had just pushed them away.
"Ah…ehm…thank you. You saved me."
"Huh? Who are you? They were just in the way."
"My bad…My name is Konya Aria." The girl laughed awkwardly. "I thought you were trying to help me but I guess I was wrong. Thank you though."
"No need to thank me. I just wanted them to get out of my way."
He left without saying anything else and Aria was left alone in the hallways. Bruises were forming on her whole body and blood ran down her face.
"Geez… maybe I should go to the infirmary… nah… maybe later."

Classes had just finished and students were told to look for a club to enter. Most club activities had to do with sports and Aria had no interest in something like that at all. In her childhood she had been forced to take dance lessons but never really enjoyed it, yet she was good at it. Basketball, football, karate, judo, tennis, baseball. There wasn't anything she liked but there was a dance club.
"Maybe I should enter…"
"Oh, hello there. You're one of the freshmen aren't you? Would you like to join our club? Please fill in this form if you want to. My name is Maki Kirya. It's nice to meet you."
"It's nice to meet you too Maki-senpai." Aria bowed down politely. "My name is Konya Aria." "She doesn't seem too bad I guess."she said to herself. After getting to know her senpai, Aria started to consider joining the dance club. It wouldn't be too bothersome and in the end there would be at least one person she didn't despise completely.
"Senpai I'll fill in the form, I guess."
