After a mission in the med bay...
Ahsoka groaned and force-pushed away the med droid. It was really annoying her with all the poking and prodding. Why couldn't it just wrap her wounds and move on? On the last mission she had been shot twice and hit by scrap metal. It had hurt at first but then slowly stopped as the pain medication kicked in. The med droid came back and told her, "If you do not stop denying medical help I will have to call over your master." Ahsoka groaned and let the droid do his work. The last thing she wanted was her master to come and overreact. The droid finished cleaning the bullet hole on her arm and went to work on the one on her side. That was when Anakin walked up. "Good job today, Snips. Those droids didn't know what hit 'em." Ahsoka grinned at her master and thanked him. It wasn't every day that he gave her a compliment. "You got pretty banged up, though, Ahsoka. You have to be more careful. I don't want you to get hurt... well, hurt even more."
"I can take care of myself, Skyguy. You're overreacting."
"Snips, you're my padawan. It's my job to overreact."
"Just like it's my job to keep you out of trouble. Not a very well-paying job, by the way. I want a raise."
"Hey! I'm not that reckless!"
"Admit it, Anakin. You are."
"Fine. I have to report to the council. Meet me when you're done."
"Will do, master."
Ahsoka sighed. Alone again. While the med droid started digging out the scrap metal Rex came by. He clapped her on the shoulder (The uninjured one) and told her, "You did good today, kid. Nice job takin' out those clankers."
"Thanks, Rex. I just wish I didn't have to deal with the med droid. It's kriffing annoying."
"Hey! Watch your language! I don't want general Skywalker getting me in trouble for teaching you all those words."
"I will, Rex."
Rex left to check on his brothers and Ahsoka was left alone yet again. She sighed and slumped down. This was going to be very boring...
