Jurabi: Heeeeeeeeeeeeloooooooooo! This Espada 4 Jurabi here bringing you a small one-shot of my OTP, Naegiri~! So I was watching Nisekoi and saw this lovely moment with Raku and Chitoge where they get locked in a storage room and Chitoge freaked out because of the dark, and I thought I would take a shot at writing a one-shot based off that scene with Naegiri. I really hope you enjoy it.

Naegi's POV
Mr. Elrick, who is our history teacher, asked Kirigiri-san and me to clean out the Hope's Peak supply closet due to the fact that all of the janitors have an important meeting today.
Man is it dusty in here. It feels more like an attic in here than a supply closet. Well it's better than sitting through a boring and confusing lecture.
I look back at Kirigiri-san. She is looking at the objects that were in this closet.
"Let's get this over with, Naegi-kun." She said.
I guess she wanted the same thing too. We took time to organize the items and place certain objects in their proper place. Well I did as best as I could to help, but I could barely see anything. The only light that shone in this closet was the light from outside the closet.
"Kirigiri-san, it's a little dark in here. Did you try turning on the light?" I asked her.
"I'm sorry, Naegi-kun, but the light switch doesn't work." Kirigiri-san told me.
"I see..." I said with a small sigh, "Well it's a good thing I'm not afraid of the dark."
Kirigiri stayed silent and continued to organize the supply items, so I did the same. When we were almost done, suddenly the closet door suddenly closed.
"Huh?!" I asked as I turned to the closed door and tried to open it, "Wh-what?! It's locked!" I shouted as I tried my hardest to bust the door open. THen I tried to shout for help, "HEEEEEEY! IS ANYBODY THERE?! WE NEED HELP!" But there was no answer. Kirigiri-san and I were all alone...in the dark... "...Damnit..." I muttered as I tried to look for Kirigiri-san in the dark.
"N-N...not...t-the dark..." I heard a faint whisper in the darkness.
"Huh? Kirigiri-san?" I asked as I tried to feel my way towards her until I felt something soft. "Found you."
"N-Naegi-kun, why are you...touching my cheek?" Kirigiri-san asked.
"Huh? Y-Your?! I-I'm so sorry, Kirigiri-san!" I apologized as I took my hand off her soft cheek, "I couldn't see you, so I had to feel me way around."
"...I-I..." Kirigiri immediently stayed silent and moved around a little and sat on the ground hugging her legs.
"Kirigiri-san, what's the matter?" I asked as I sat next to her.
"Th-The d-d-dark...I-I can't see...a th-thing!" Kirigiri-san suddenly shouted.
I have never seen her shout before unless she was giving orders to other people during group work. She...she must be really scared, but of what? The dark?
"Kirigiri-san, are you by chance...afraid of the dark?" I asked her.
"...Y-Yes..." Kirigiri-san said, "I didn't expect for the door to close and lock on us like that..." Kirigiri-san said.
"Yeah...you can blame the school for having a crappy door with a stupid lock." I said as I kicked the door.
"T-This place is a little old and easy to forget..." Kirigiri-san said.
We stayed silent for a while. The only thing that we could hear was the sounds of our own breathing.
"Naegi-kun, aren't you curious as to why I am afraid of the dark?" Kirigiri-san suddenly asked.
"No. I don't want to force you to relive a painful memory, Kirigiri-san." I said with a smile that I know she saw.
"...Well...I don't mind sharing if it's with you." Kirigiri-san said, "I'm afraid of the dark because...it remind me of myself." She admitted, but what did she mean by that? "I've always...closed my heart to everyone and as a result I've always felt so...alone and empty."
"So that's how you really feel..." I whispered, "Kirigiri-san, if you've really closed out your heart, then why are you talking about this to me now? I don't believe you're a cold person...you're just...distant, that's all."
"You think so?" Kirigiri-san asked.
"I know so." I said as I placed a hand on her shoulder, "Heck, Asahina-san, Sakura-san, and Maizano-san could never stop talking about how much they wanted to be best buds with you."
"...I...never realized that." Kirigiri-san said as she looked down at the ground, "Th-thank you...Naegi-kun..."
"Hehe, it was no probl-" I was cut off when Kirigiri-san suddenly hugged me tightly. My cheeks heated up like an oven, "K-Kirigiri-s-san?!"
"No really...thank you, Naegi-kun...for not laughing at my confession." She said.
Oh...she must have had a hard time with this fear of hers. I can't really imagine Kirigiri-san being bullied and laughed at because of her fear, but then again she isn't the talkative type.
I hugged her back and ran my hand through her silky hair, "Hey, it's natural to be afraid of something. I'm afraid of clowns and blood."
I heard Kirigiri-san giggle, "You wouldn't do well as a detective then."
"Yeah...I'm some-what envious of you. You can basically stare at a body with your eyes and not flinch. How do you do it?" I asked curiously.
"...If you seen so much of something, you get used to it after a while." She explained, "It's part of being the Ultimate Detective."
"I see." I said. Both of us were still in the hug. Kirigiri-san really didn't want to let go of me. I wouldn't blame her given how frightened she still was. Her face was now burried into my chest as I lightly soothed her hair.
"N-Naegi-kun..." Kirigiri whispered as she lifted her head up to look at me, "You so...warm..."
"I am...?" I asked as I felt the same heat on my cheeks.
"Yes...I've never felt this warm since my mother held me." She said as she slowly put her hand up to my face.
I was surprised by her move and completely froze in place, "K-Kirigiri-san...?"
"My mother always told me that she fell in love with father the moment she placed a hand on his cheek." Kirigiri-san told me.
...Wait...is she...? Oh who am I kidding...of course she is. She's trying...to tell me that...
"I've fallen in love with you, Naegi-kun." Kirigiri-san confessed to me.
I was in a stunned silence for a few seconds. My mind tried to process what was going on before me and then it clicked, "You...do...?"
Kirigiri-san looked down at the floor, "I'm sorry...if I made you upset."
"Upset?" I asked in shock as I took her hands and held onto them, "Why would I be upset that the girl I love made the first move?" I asked with a smile, "I'm more dissapointed in myself for not making the move first."
Now it was Kirigiri-san's turn to be in stunned silence. I didn't want to wait for her responce. I pulled her in and gave her a passionate kiss. It didn't surprise me that she returned the kiss with her own. The kiss could not be described by words alone, but if I could describe it with one word it would be: Lovely.
We seperated and I stared at her purple eyes and then noticed something: She wasn't shaking any more, "Looks like your shaking stopped." I said.
"It...did." Kirigiri-san said just now noticing that.
"See? Being with friends can conquer any of your fears." I told her with a smile.
"Or...maybe with the person you love." Kirigiri-san corrected me.
"Oh right...sorry. I'm just so used to calling you my friend, but now I can call you girlfriend." I said as I wrapped her in a hug.
Suddenly, the door opened and a voice shouted at us.
"Naegi! Kirigiri! What are you two doing?!" The familiar loud voice shouted.
"Oh no..." I muttered as Kirigiri and I turned to Ishimaru while letting go of Kirigiri, the Ultimate Hall Monitor. "Listen Ishimaru, I can ex-"
"You can explain to Mr. Elrick when we return to his class!" Ishimaru interrupted, "You both have been gone for almost an hour and I find you in that rule-prohibited position!"
"...Uh...well..."
"And don't make the excuse that Kirigiri fell on you and wrapped her arms around your neck!" Ishimaru shouted.
"We get it, Ishimaru, we broke the rules." Kirigiri-san said, "Now shall we head back to Mr. Elrick's class? We need to talk about this broken door." She said as she flashed me a wink as Ishimaru lead us back to class.
"Ah about that door at the supply closet." Ishimaru said, "A long time has passed and that door's gotten so old that it eventually went unaligned."
"Unaligned?" I asked.
"Yeah, Mr. Elric forgot to tell you that you had to turn the nob and then push it in order to open it." Ishimaru explained.
That's what it was? It was that easy? ...Well, I'm not going to complain. I'm glad I got out of that boring lecture and spent time with Kirigiri-san and I could tell by her face she was wanting the same thing.
