A Twist in Time.
Prologue.
This couldn't be happening. Not again.
"It's not my fault this time!" That was Owen, defending his honour as the Hub shook violently, as things were thrown from desks, as the team clung onto anything sturdy for dear life. Sparks flew everywhere as lights blared on the rift manipulator, illuminating the laughing figure stood before it.
Bilis Manger.
"My Master shall be avenged!"
The Hub was shaking so badly that no matter how much he wanted to Jack couldn't aim his gun at the smirking bastard and shoot him. None of the team could do anything but watch as the world seemingly came to an end around them.
"Enjoy the end of the world!"
With his final, evil laugh Billis was gone.
"Jack?!? What do we do?!? Jack!!!"
Gwen wasn't the only one screaming but she was the one Jack heard the clearest, she was right next to him. He was most worried about Ianto who had been up on the walkway when this nightmare began and was now in serious danger of falling…if Jack didn't do something.
"Jack! Cut the power!" Tosh screamed, "Cut the power to the Rift Manipulator!" Her words made sense, it would temporarily stop what was happening, give them the time they needed to figure out a proper solution. Letting go of the railing Jack stumbled hard down the few stairs to the Rift Manipulator, hitting it's side hard. Something sparked near in his head as he reached inside for the power cable, gripping the hot cable with his hands he started to pull.
"Oh my God…look!" Toshiko had seen something behind him.
"There's another one over there!" Gwen screamed.
"Hurry Jack!" Owen shouted. Whether or not Ianto shouted anything Jack would never know because at that moment he pulled the cable out of the manipulator and got shocked with all of the electricity that had been going into the machine. Once again he descended into the blackness of death.
A/N There you go, it's more of a teaser than a prologue but that's all your getting…for now anyway.
