I once posted this already but decided to re-upload it and edit it, those headcons, I'm dutch but I moved to an other country so my dutch grammar sucks big time, nor I have a beta, sorry.
How he talks about his country is they way the dutch people are, don't say things like: Oh but in Hetalia... A lot of times I like to put more how the people are. The relationship are based on my imagination, or because I saw a history between them (alliance or enemy).
- Netherlands doesn't hate Germany for the past, or even directly, but people tend to mistake him for a German, even on the news of other countries, which for a country is a good reason to get pissed off.
- Ned has a high tolerance for people's religions as well as their habits. He was once chosen as happiest country of the world, but now it came to bite him back and the native dutch people are leaving the country because of it. He secretly envies Spain because he's the owner of a low tolerance.
- He does help sometime people economically, but many times refuses since he himself never has been helped out, but if he does help someone and later those say that he hasn't give them money, he will get pissed off.
- Ned can easily speak other people's languages, but the other way around is a rare sight, not impossible, but rare.
- People tend to see him as cruel or selfish, but he doesn't see the need in to helping someone who doesn't do something themselves, or the gesture won't be returned, so why bother.
- Despite the uneasy history between him and Spain, he does go a lot on vacation to visit to Spaniard.
