This is a story of what if. What if Hook didn't come back, and moved on from the Underworld and into a better place, leaving Emma to be a single girl who needs to move on herself, but can't find herself doing so? Also, this is happening in the middle of Once upon a Vampire 1 & 2. So, you'll probably be hearing some references from the first one in this story. Just a warning.

Chapter 1
~FLASHBACK~
A 16 year old girl ran through the streets of a random city, her blond hair blowing behind her, trying to get away from something that was chasing her, until she tripped over a tree root in the park, and fell to the ground. She spun around on the floor, and saw a beam of light shooting towards her. She closed her eyes, waiting to wake up from this dream or feel the impact of the blow, whatever came first, only to have neither come.
She opened her eyes and looked up to see a boy with raven black hair and wearing a plain white t-shirt with blue jeans and read sneakers. He held a thermos looking thing in his hand, as the beam shot into it, and so did the creature that was chasing after her.
Once it was in the thermos, the boy (who looked no more than 17) quickly put the lid on it, and sighed with relief. He turned around, revealing to the girl his icy blue eyes, and a smile as he held out his hand for her to take, to help her stand. She took the offer, and was pulled up.
"You okay?" The boy asked, making the girl look at him some more, and blush slightly.
"I-I'm fine." She said as she looked to the ground slightly.
"You must be new here, huh?" The boy stated. "I'm Danny Fenton. Who are you?"
"I'm Emma...Emma Swan." The girl, now known as Emma, answered as she looked back up to him.
"That's a nice name." The boy, known as Danny, said with a smile. "Sorry about that thing chasing you. It's pretty common to get them here."
"No, it's fine." Emma began. "Thanks for saving me."
"Oh, no big. It is my job to protect the people here after all." Danny stated back, which only made Emma giggle. She was starting to grow comfortable with him now, and she could see a friendship within him...even if it wasn't going to last forever.
~PRESENT DAY~
Emma Swan sat in Granny's, with a hot chocolate in her hand, as she thought back to the latest adventure. Hook stayed down in the Underworld, and with his held in some way shape or form, they had defeated the God of Death, Hades.
But now, Emma was alone, and needed to move on. But things kept getting in her way. When she would settle down, and say that she would move on, she would think about a time she and Hook shared together.
"Emma?" A voice spoke up, making her look up to see Rosalyn, her son's girlfriend, standing there in her modern day vampire look of a black and red bodice shirt, and a black mini-skirt. After seeing her dressed like this, Emma was glad Henry was not there.
"Oh, hey Rosalyn. How you doing?" Emma asked, as Rosalyn sat down in front of her in the booth.
"I'm fine. But I heard about Hook. I'm really sorry for your loss." She said as she placed a hand on Emma's. Emma just grinned as she patted Rosalyn's hand.
"Thanks." She said under her breathe.
"I'm sorry to say, but I do have to go. I made plans to go look for some family...in the land without magic." Rosalyn stated as she pulled her hand away.
"Does Henry know this plan?" Emma asked.
"Oh, yeah. I saw him earlier. He knows I'm going to go find some more family that is out there somewhere." Rosalyn answered.
"So he saw you dressed like that, huh?" Emma stated, taking a sip of her hot coco.
Rosalyn slapped Emma on the arm with a tease. "Shut up! And yes, he did." She said back with a giggle, as Emma rolled her eyes.
"I'll see you guys soon. I'll be back before you know it. And again...I'm real sorry." Rosalyn said as she touched Emma's shoulder standing up, and then disappeared in a puff of black and red smoke.
Emma sighed, as she thought back to when she first met that girl. It was to the point where she had forgotten about Hook, until he entered her brain again.
XXXXXXXXXX
Henry Mills-Swan was walking down the streets, while on his cell phone.
"Mel, I'm not having this talk again." Henry stated as he stopped in front of Granny's. "I don't care. I'm not singing at Granny's with Rosalyn when we have the chance! Because I don't sing!" He chuckled slightly at the young mermaid's remark, before looking up to see a moving van nearby. "Hey, I have to go. Ro is out of town right now tracking down the rest of her vampire family, so no...I'm not with her. I see a moving van. We'll talk later. Alright, bye."
Henry then hung up his phone, and rolled his eyes. "Melody, you are a piece of work." He stated to himself before walking over to the van, as a young man and a girl who looked like she was his age of 15 jump out of the back of it.
The man had short raven black hair and icy blue eyes. His skin was pretty pale, and he wore a plain white t-shirt underneath a royal blue jacket, blue jeans, and red sneakers.
The girl, however, looked extremely like him, only with white low-lights going throughout her hair. She was wearing a red mini sundress, with a black off the shoulders long sleeved t-shirt underneath, black capris and red lace up high-heeled boots. She had white hoop ear rings in her ears, a black chocker necklace around her neck, and a black and white longer necklace as well. Her nails were even pained black.
"Hi." Henry said, with a smile, making the man look at him and smile back.
"Hi kid." He said.
"I'm Henry, and I couldn't help but notice the moving van, so I had to just come meet you guys." Henry stated, still smiling at them.
"Oh, that's nice. Thanks." The man said, as the girl walked up to Henry.
"I'm Rosaleatta Fenton, but my friends back home call me Rosie." The girl, now known as Rosie, stated.
"That's funny. My girlfriend's name is Rosalyn, but this girl named Melody calls her Rosie too." Henry stated.
"Oh, that is funny!" Rosaleatta stated with a grin. "Oh, and this is my father."
"Nice to meet you, Mr. Fenton." Henry said as he shook hands with Rosie's father.
"Oh, please, call me..." The man began, before he was interrupted by a female voice across the street.
"Danny?" The man looked over and his eyes immediately grew wide. The blond hair, blue eyes...there was only one person that she was.
"Emma?" The man, known as Danny now, stated in shock, as Emma walked up to them.
~FLASHBACK~
Danny and Tucker were laughing at a bunch of things, as they were walking home from school, when they noticed Emma, sitting on a bench in the park, by herself.
"Guys, hurry up!" A voice spoke, making them look over to see Sam standing there on the sidewalk, waiting for her two friends (one of them being her boyfriend at the moment).
"Go ahead, Tucker. I'll catch up later." Danny said, making Tucker shrug his shoulders before running after Sam.
"Danny, you coming!" Sam yelled over to him.
"I'll meet you tonight!" Danny yelled back to her. "I love you!"
"Love you too!" Sam yelled to him, before running off with Tucker.
Danny smiled, before looking over at Emma, who was eating a cookie. He walked up to her and sat down next to her on the bench, which made her look up to see him there.
"Hi." He said, making Emma practically go frantic with her stuff. "No, no, wait!" He stated, making her stop. "Why weren't you in school today? You obviously feel fine."
"I-I don't go to school here. I don't go to school anywhere actually."
"Oh, are you home schooled?" Danny asked, making Emma look at him with an angry look on her face. "Wait..you don't have a family?"
"No...I don't." Emma stated back as she pushed her book bag away from her.
"Oh, I'm so sorry. I didn't know."
"No one knows." Emma stated, before Danny gasped, letting a blue stream of air come out of his mouth. "Crap." He stated as he stood up.
"What's wrong?" Emma asked, before the ghost appeared in front of them. It looked liked the stereotypical ghost that you see in cartoons or in a drawing, only with small red eyes, and it was black...not white.
Emma screamed as Danny put an arm out in front of her. "Okay! Now I'm pissed!" He yelled, as he went to say something else, but realized Emma was there. He couldn't do it with her around still! If he did, she'd just run away, thinking he was weird. Even though the rest of the town who, or what, he was now.
Emma screamed again as the ghost growled with anger, which caused Danny to think screw it! and say the two words that he was going to say in the first place. "Going GHOST!" He yelled, which caused Emma to watch him, turn into the ghost hero she had heard so much about. He had a black and white jumpsuit on, and his hair had changed to white. And when he looked at her, she noticed his eyes changed to a neon green color.
"WHOA!" Emma yelled. "You're Danny Phantom!?"
"You're not weirded out about this?!" Danny yelled at her as he started to fight the ghost.
"Are you kidding me?! Of course not! I've always liked the idea of magic!" Emma yelled back as Danny used the thermos and caught the ghost inside it, before turning back to his normal self.
He looked over at the blond girl, and smiled. He had just made a new friend, and she didn't care that he was part ghost. Today, was a good day.
~PRESENT DAY~
"What are you doing here?" She asked.
"Needed a change scenery, what are you doing here? Last time I saw you, you were on the run...and homeless." Danny stated, which made Emma scuff slightly with a smile.
"Yeah, well. We all have to find a place to call home at some point." Emma said back.
"Dad, you know here?" Rosie asked, making Emma look at the girl next to him.
"Wait, this is your daughter?" Emma asked.
"I am too!" Another voice yelled from the front door of the house. Correction, a young voice, making the 4 look over to see a girl with shoulder length black hair and violet eyes. She was wearing a black t-shirt with a purple oval in the center, and a purple knee length skirt, with black sneakers.
"Daisy, get back inside." Rosie stated as she walked up to her little 11 year old sister.
"Who's the mom?" Emma asked again.
"You knew her." Danny said, making Henry look at him in surprise.
"Knew?" He stated in the form of a question, making it click in Emma's head.
"Sam." She said, making Danny quickly wipe a tear away.
"Yeah. Her."
"Where is...?" Emma began before she realized... "Oh. Danny, I'm so sorry."
"Yeah, me too." Danny stated before he went to grab a box, when he stopped, and gasped as a stream of blue left his mouth. "Damn it." He whispered.
"What's wrong, Mr. Fenton?" Henry asked.
"Henry, go wait in Granny's." Emma said, making Henry look over at her, before shrugging and running over to the restaurant across the street.
"Where's the bloody ghost?"
"I forgot you knew." Danny stated before going behind the moving van.
"Yeah, with a secret like that...it's hard to forget." Emma stated, before a glow came behind her, and then out flew Danny, as his alter ego, Danny Phantom.
"Alright, where the bloody hell is that..." Without warning, a beam of red ectoplasm hit Danny right in the chest, making him fall to the road, hard.
"Danny!" Emma yelled as she ran up to him and helped him sit up. "Are you okay?" She asked, quickly.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Danny stated back as he grunted in pain.
"Well, well, well..." A voice spoke, making him look up and his eyes widen. "...look who decided to move away from his parents finally!" The man stood there, arms crossed, as he hair stood up like retro vampire, and his completely red eyes. His white jumpsuit had a cape that blew in the light breeze of Maine, as he stood there, smirking evilly at the now adult ghost boy.
"Vlad Plasmius..."
