AsYa One Shot – Reasons Part 2 (Zoya POV)
10 reasons why Zoya Farooqui hated Asad Ahmed Khan
10. She hated his mentality. That mentality which seriously made her wonder whether he was fossilized in a rock from the stone age and was freed recently. But despite his traditional views she knew he held women in high regards and did not think of them as decoration pieces and born incubators. He respected them.
9. She hated that because he was forced to grow up way ahead of time his young mind had adopted the only method it knew of to cope with such drastic changes- closing off. He closed off to the world. That he found it so hard to trust and open up to people and at the first hint of a betrayal he would retreat back to his cocoon faster than one could blink.
8. She hated that he already had his preconceived notions of her just because she wore jeans and was from New York. She hated that he was judgmental and that he jumped to the worst possible conclusions without hearing her out.
7. She hated that he hurt her. But what she hated even more as the fact that she didn't find it in herself to hold a grudge. That his sincere and heartfelt apologies forced her to forgive him. She hated that even though he hurt her only he had the power to heal her.
6. She hated that he affected her. That his one look had the power to reduce her to a stuttering stammering mess. She absolutely hated that she subconsciously sought his approval. That his opinions and thoughts mattered. Before she hadn't cared about what people thought of her and her actions, if it felt right to her she would do it and she hated that she wanted him to at least care a little.
5. She hated that his feelings affected her moods. Hated that when he was hurting, it hurt her too. That she wanted to take his pain and bury it somewhere deep inside her so he would never find it again. That when he smiled it made her day.
4. She hated that his presence brought a sense of security and comfort. She hated that a man so damaged, protected her. She hated that she trusted him with her life and that if he was there she knew everything would be alright.
3. She hated the fact that she cared. That this man almost a stranger affected her so much. She hated that this man - who true to his name was as protective and possessive as a lion and lived in his own den refusing to let people in - had gotten under her skin. And she hated that she didn't find it in herself to actually be bothered.
2. He is the darkness to her light. She knows he's dark but hates the fact that her light wants …no needs his darkness, that her light thrives on his darkness , that his darkness brings a sense of sanctuary and comfort and that she trusts his darkness to keep her safe.
1. She hates him because of all these reasons but, it's with a passion so deep sometimes it feels like Love.
