This is a little one-shot based on the manga it has spoiler up to vol. 17. These are just Hachi's thoughts. I'm a little nervous since this is my first fic on a manga, since I've written some other but on anime. I hope I didn't ruin Yazawa-sensei's work.
I'm filling for those who don't know. Even in that point of the manga isn't completely clear but something happens and Nana apparently goes missing or something. Some think she's dead but her close friends still hoping she's alive somewhere. The story sort of goes into the future and then return to the past, so it's a bit confusing at first.

Please come once again because the dream that I have and that I want you to become real is for you to be with me always.
Nana, please forgive for not looking for you so hard. I haven't done so because I have a daughter to take care for. I have job to work hard on. I have so many things that keep me busy.
In reality, all those are just excuses. The true is I'm afraid you might slapped away stretched out hand.
