I 've been wanting to do this for a while now so here it is .
Summary : Steel thinks over his feelings for Max and in the end comes up with one word to name them … LOVE
steel's POV
It was a perfectly clear night ,millions of stars twinkled and sparkled like diamonds on the ebony wings of a raven . Truly beautiful the ultra-link thought as he stared out the window of the young Maxwell (Max) Margrath's room . Steel turned and hovered over to the bed were Max slept and watched . No seriously Steel knew he too should be resting but he had so many confusing things on his mind right now he couldn't, so instead he watched the reason for the questions in his head . Yes that's right this boy who he was ultra-linked to was making feelings he didn't know he had bubble up like a volcano ready to explode with massive force, and if Steel had a heart or a chest, every time Max was around ( which was pretty much always ) that heart would be pounding so fast within that chest . Max groaned in his sleep and mumbled something about a purple bunny wearing a fire elementor fan girl T-shirt causing steel's face ( that's what I'll call it ) to flash a question mark symbol . Shrugging it off as a random dream Steel went back to his stalker like watching of the young boy whose hair ruffled as a gust of wind blew through the open window . Steel very much likes Max's hair with its light and dark shades of brown, but the real wonder were Max's beautiful baby blue eyes. Oh how steel loved those . That thought seemed to get the alien piece of technology thinking . " um love " Steel tapped his chin 3 times a thoughtful look on his face , could this be what he had been feeling for Max , love ? Yes , yes that had to be it , he now knew he loved Max but the real question Steel was unsure about ,was he IN love with Max? This definitely left Steel perplexed , but looking down once more to the sleeping teen Steel couldn't help but remember that Max already had other interests such as his friend Sydney who he was constantly trying to court . Jealously completely consumed Steel at that moment how dare this girl stand in the way of him and my Max . Wait a sec MY max … oh my god , he really was IN love with Max this was… well Steel really didn't know what this was .What if Max found out ? What if he hated Steel because of it ? So many what ifs were going through his head that Steel felt like he was going to overload . It wasn't until Max once again mumbled something in his sleep that the ultra-link was distracted from his troubled mind . Steel giggled at Max's comment that dread should stop wearing hot pink and that it totally wasn't his colour .Oh well Steel thought to himself what's the worst that could happen , and without a second thought he snuggled up to the sleeping human careful not to wake him up . Steel knew that in the morning Max was going to ask why he'd woken up with steel in his arms , but honestly Steel didn't care ,he was in love and no one , not even the one he'd fallen for was going to change that .
