Sasori was currently on his way to his friend Konan's house. It was really her boyfriend's house, but whatever.
When he got there, he was greeted by Konan, who led him to the living room. There was a Christmas tree in the corner of the room, the whole room in fact looked like it was straight out if a Hallmark Christmas movie.
"How have things been going with your crush? Have you told Deidara you like him yet?" Konan asked him as soon as he sat down with her, Pein just rolled his eyes at his fujoshi of a girlfriend.
"No, I haven't told him yet, so do NOT breathe another word of it." Sasori said rather grumpily. In truth his blond haired childhood friend didn't even know he was out of the closet.
A look of understanding and pity came into Konan's eyes, "Oh I see, he doesn't even know that you're gay. Poor Dei, when he finds out he's going to be sad that you didn't trust him enough to tell him something important."
"It's not because I don't trust him... It's just that I'm afraid he'll reject me..." The redhead mumbled to himself.
Just then there was a knock at the door, Pein disappeared and then reappeared with the very object of Sasori's feelings.
"Hey, un." Deidara said with a cute little wave, which made the redhead's heart beat speed up a little and made him want to hold the blond close and whisper sweet things to him in French as they cuddled together. A blush as red as his hair lot up his face.
As time went on more and more guests arrived, but Sasori's thoughts stayed on the blond. It didn't help that the blond decided to wear very tight black skinny jeans that showed off his hips and was, and a tight light blue long sleeved shirt.
Sasori was hiding in the kitchen, not being comfortable in crowds ever since he was a child, when the blond walked in, right next to him and grabbed a piece of chocolate peppermint bark. Konan came in right after him and told them they we're standing under mistletoe and therefore had to kiss... She looked extremely happy and took out her phone to take pictures.
Before Deidara could do anything, Sasori leaned up about half an inch and placed his lips against the other boy's. He expected the blond to push him away harshly and be disgusted, but to his surprise the blond kissed back and closed his eyes. It must have been on instinct, right?
They stopped and walked in opposite directions as if nothing happened.
Konan got a lot more people with her mistletoe trick, such as Kakuzu and Hidan, the latter being happy about it and the former being as unreadable as always save a smirk on his face. She somehow managed to get people such as Itachi and Sasuke, which made all the ItaSasu shippers very happy (Guilty as charged, nya xD). And she was so talented of a matchmaker to get Naruchi and Zeki to blush deep crimson before kissing, and going to hide, too embarrassed to show their faces for the rest of the party.
