AN-Another short one shot, getting me closer to my goal of 100 stories. Enjoy!

''Come on Linda.'' Charlie said in an exasperated tone.

He reached for her again but she stepped away and glared.

''I can't believe you Charlie, how can you be so rude. So insensitive!'' she demanded.

''Because Linda, you gotta know how stupid this is. This isn't right, it doesn't work. It should have ended weeks ago.''

''I can't believe you. Didn't those few moments after the game mean anything to you! Everyone saw, they were so happy for us.'' she was practically crying now.

''Linda, stop being so dramatic.''

''Dramatic?! I'm being dramatic. You walked out on your team and now I'm the dramatic one? I thought it meant more to you then this.''

Charlie sighed. ''I'm honestly surprised it lasted this long.''

She glared at him. ''God Charlie, you can be such a jackass sometimes.''

''You're acting like this is the end of the world. You'd think I'd be more upset.''

''You didn't spend weeks putting time and energy into this. You just played your stupid sport!'' she yelled.

''My stupid sport was the reason it started, so don't even try that Linda.'' he said.

''Fine, well, if you're so fine with them taking it down, be my guest. But don't think I'll try so hard next time.''

With a final glare, she stood up from the bleachers and made her way outside the arena. Charlie sighed and watched as they took down the banner with the name Eden Hall Mighty Ducks on it. He stood up and left the arena. He saw Linda and jogged over to her.

''Lin, I'm sorry. I know how badly you wanted to change the name of the school.'' he said.

She stopped and turned towards him. ''Can they really just take it down?''

''If the important alumni put up a big enough stink.'' he said.

She sighed and finally let him put his arms around her. ''I thought I'd finally made a difference.''

''You did. Linda, for a few weeks, you changed our school team name. You should be proud of yourself. I know I am.''

She pulled back. ''You're totally sucking up right now, aren't you?''

''Is it working?''

She grinned and shoved him lightly. ''You really are a jackass.''

''You know you love me.''

''Not really.'' she said, her arms crossed.

''Oh really?'' he stepped closer to her.

''Yep.'' she said.

''Well, I'll have to fix that.''

Before Linda could ask how, he was kissing her.

''I hate you.'' she whispered, as they broke apart.

Charlie grinned. ''So, I'm forgiven?''

''For now. Just in time to help me set up a new petition. Maybe this time, I can make it permanent.'' she said.

Linda grabbed his hand and tugged him towards the library and Charlie groaned slightly under his breath, reminding himself how much he loved her.

AN-Did I make you think they were breaking up? hahaha, if you liked review please!
