Cornwall on the telly

Barbara had seemed to be in a hurry to get home this evening, and Tommy was uncertain about what she had in mind.
"Poldark!" she said. "It's starting again tonight and I really want to see it."
"Oh, for heaven's sake, Barbara, are you still lusting after that Irishman?"

"I fall in love with characters, Tommy, not actors. It's Ross Poldark I love, not Aidan Turner."
"Why do I not believe you?" he said, laughing and spinning her around till she fell onto the sofa.

"Are you going to tell me you don't fancy Demelza a teeny bit? She is so beautiful, and so feisty."

"And her hair is even redder than yours, my love," he said, crossing to the TV set and setting it to the right channel.

"You've noticed, then," she laughed.

"Barbara, what I really love about that program is the scenery. Especially the ocean. Gorgeous crashing waves. I love the seas in Cornwall, and I get a little homesick when we see those scenes. Maybe we should go to Howenstowe next week, and after we watch the latest episode, we can hunt down some of the places where they filmed. Would you like that?"

"Yes, yes, now hush! It's starting!"
