Light woke up in the middle of nowhere with two cats beside him. One was a gray cat with matted fur and long claws. The other cat had pretty golden fur and a black collar around it's neck. Light stood up and with shock he realized he could not find his Death Note and was he much smaller than usual?! He raised his hand to examine it and realized he now had paws. He was a cat! How did he get here and why was he a cat?! He felt that there was a collar on his own neck and he walked over a nearby puddle to see it. The collar was the same as the one the golden cat was wearing. Light unsheathed his claws and undid the collar. When Light took the collar off it changed shaped... The collar turned into his Death Note.
The other cats behind Light stirred and he froze, could they be hostile? The two cats lifted their head. "Light you're up!" The golden furred mewled "it's me Misa Amane and the dark gray cat is Ryuk!" "Misa, do you know how we became cats?" Light asked one of his paws on the Death Note. Misa shook her head. "How did you know I was Light?" He asked Misa. "I didn't I just assumed you were!" Misa said as Light nodded.
Light was beginning to memorize all of the scents of the clearing he was in when he smelled a new one. "Intruders!" A voice hissed "there are intruders here!" An orange tomcat ran over and Light quickly put his Death Collar back on before it was spotted. "Who are you?" The cat demanded "why are you here?" "My name is Light Yagami" Light said not thinking to use an alias from all the strange things happening "And I sort of woke up here without reason... I don't know how I got here!" The orange tomcat stared into Light's eyes to see if he was lying. To the cat's shock, Light was telling the truth. "Oh I'm so sorry for being hostile! My name is Firestar" He meowed "If you are lost you may come to my camp maybe even join us!" Light nodded "We will come with you"
