Jake watched as the fight between Marco and Cassie continued. He didn't feel like they had won, either. He lied. And now that he had time to think about it, it made him sick.

"Well, the book most certainly can't help you get over THAT image."
"So? Who ever said the jester was me? He's based after you. That's why he's not funny."
Marco had no warning as the pillow struck him square in the face.
