A/N: This is going to be a really short Roy and Thea story of what I would have liked to happen. So yeah, it's AU ;). For those of you who are following my other story An Unexpected Enemy, I promise that I have not given up on it nor will I. The Muse is just being difficult right now, lol. Now…on to the story :).
KenyanCougar, thank you so much for your beta work :D!

Chapter 1: Roy
Roy was pacing his apartment. It had officially been one week since the battle with Slade and he had been cured from the Mirakuru. He had spent most of the week resting. Without the extra strength that he had gotten used to, Roy found simple tasks exhausting. Now that he was well rested and his head was clear, he knew that he had to make his decision. The one that he had put off for as long as possible, but couldn't be ignored any longer.
Stay in Starling City and face the consequences of his, well not really his, actions. Yes, he carried them out, but he would never have done those things if the Mirakuru hadn't messed up his head.
Or…
Move to Central City or farther.
It was not an easy decision to make. Both choices had positives and negatives that went along with them.
He could take the easy way out and move to Central City where no one would know about what he had done; what he had become. But could he seriously walk away from everything and everyone he loved? Could he give up his home, his friends, Thea? Trade it all for a clean slate?
On the flip side, if he stayed could he face his friends and Thea without having his guilt following him everywhere he went? It would be much harder.
Roy was a private person. The less people knew about him the better, but his face had beenbroadcast all throughout Starling City when he had completely lost control. It would be a while before he would be able to walk down the street without someone staring at him. Even if the eyes that followed him everywhere he went were a product of his imagination due to the enormous amount of guilt that was his constant companion.
But when had he ever taken the easy way out? He could do this. After all, he wasn't alone. Oliver, Felicity, and Diggle promised to stand by his side and help him get his life back. Of course thoughts of Oliver brought him back to Thea. Would she forgive him? Did she even still love him?
Growing restless, Roy grabbed his red hoodie and walked to the door, he needed some fresh air to help him think. Opening the door, he came to an abrupt halt when he saw the person standing on the other side of the door.
It was Thea.
I told you this was going to be really short! I'm thinking three more chapters.
Hope y'all liked it!
Please review :)!
