You saw, didn't you...you understood...or so I thought you did...but enough with that...forget it- it's a new day you see...what a beautiful day it is...Indeed...you should wake up already...you have to, you know... you've had your absence- now face the world!... Wait... You hear that? Be quiet! shh!...is that humming?...
...yes, it is.
But wait! There's something more, yes, definitely- strain your ears now......you silly, not like that...birds? Yeah, already starting their busy day with a happy song...you should do it too, you sleepy head...
...mmm, not yet...it's so warm here, am I feverish?
...no you dummy, it's the sun, the sun is greeting you! Why don't you greet it back? What you're doing isn't very polite...
...stop it already, see what you're done?, your blabbering made me shiver...
...No.- It was a breeze, the wind is already awake, you see, it want's you to play with him...
...go chase after wind? You must be crazy...
...why not? Afterall, you have beat him like a 100 times already...
...you're right- wait now, it's...it's that humming again...what a beautiful sound, but where? Where does it come from?
...wake up- you'll see...
So Aang finally opened his sleepy eyes to search for that beautiful sound, only to see a 100 times more beautiful Katara at his side, with a gorgeous smile across her lips and two pairs of sleepy eyes glued on his face. It was the sight Aang would always wake up earlier for in the mornings. Sadly though, the humming was gone, eyes locked onto Katara's, he wondered if that sound came from her, it was certainly possible, knowing that Katara was full of beauty, inside-outside, even her nasty temper... Probably from this intimate eye piercing in the morning Katara blushed, embaressed.
"K-Katara?" Katara turned her head to Aangs again, the smile still on her tired face.
"Good morning, Aang. Had a good sleep?" Katara said smiling strikingly.
What? She was watching him sleep? He didn't even want to know how many comical looks crossed his face. She must've done some serious laughing. An embarrassed tomato-red blush covered his sleepy features. Noticing this she started blushing as well, of course for different reasons.
"I-I ,umm... I was...I was just- " Katara trailed off, trying to find a logical exuse for her waking up so early in the morning, only to watch her friend, her just friend sleeping. But, there was no way of denying it, and for that Aang was glad. So he just smirked with a blush on his cheeks pulling closer to her, and Katara too turned into deep crimson.
"Would you like to go go swimming with me? You know, so we could both wake up?" Aang asked. A relieved but yet suprised look passed Katara's face.
"I'd really love to." At that Aang quickly stood up, took Katara's hand and together they ran to the nearby river, a river that was as blue as Katara's eyes. He had always loved that river when he visited the Western Air Temple a 100 years back. Only now he new why.
As for Katara, she was simply amazed, watching the I'm-so-early-waking-fast-running-withdrawing-dazzeling-cute-energieball-handsome-caring-smiling..(it would go on and on in her mind, so the point is-) "How the hell can he be like this in the mornings?"
...yes...what a beautiful day it is...Indeed...But it's better now that you're awake...don't you agree?
