Sakura lurched over her radio, changing the channels. She sat on her bed, reaching over and pressing the buttons. Eventually she stopped when she found the song she was looking for. Because it made her think of him...Sasuke Uchiha

So much for my happy ending...

Let's talk this over

It's not like we're dead

Was it something I did?
Was it something You said?

She remembered how happy she was when they were assigned as a team, though he wanted nothing to do with her

Don't leave me hanging In a city so dead

Held up so high On such a breakable thread

Or on that horrid night, the night he left

You were all the things I thought I knew And I thought we could be

You were everything, everything that I wanted

We were meant to be, supposed to be, but we lost it

And all of the memories, so close to me, just fade away

All this time you were pretending So much for my happy ending

No matter how hard she tried, she was never really his friend

You've got your dumb friends I know what they say

They tell you I'm difficult But so are they

She laughed a little, as the tears fell down her face. Thinking about how she acted around Ino and Naruto when it came to Sasuke

But they don't know me

Do they even know you?
All the things you hide from me

All the shit that you do

Truly, all he cared about was Itachi. He invoked the curse mark, practically selling his soul to the snake sannin, Orochimaru

You were all the things I thought I knew And I thought we could be

You were everything, everything that I wanted

We were meant to be, supposed to be, but we lost it

And all of the memories, so close to me, just fade away

All this time you were pretending

So much for my happy ending

It's nice to know that you were there

Thanks for acting like you cared

And making me feel like I was the only one

There was a point, where she believed he cared about her

It's nice to know we had it all

Thanks for watching as I fall

And letting me know we were done

But he didn't, and so he left her all alone

You were everything, everything that I wanted

We were meant to be, supposed to be, but we lost it

And all of the memories, so close to me, just fade away

All this time you were pretending

So much for my happy ending

Sakura sat on the side of her bed, crying. He had left all those years ago, never to return. She lifted her head up in shock, as a pare of bandaged arms rapped around her tiny frame and held her

"Sakura. Please do not cry. It hurts me to see you like this, please come back to bed." Sakura nodded happily, knowing he was with her. Throughout those years that Sasuke left, Lee was always there for Sakura. He was her friend, her comrade, her long time lover, more so her boyfriend and someone she knew she could hold onto.
"OK Lee" she said snuggling next to him, their bodies wrapped in warm sheets. She rested her head on his chest, and her hand on his stomach. As she snuggled up, he rapped his arm around her and soon enough his heart beat put her to sleep"

"I love you Lee" Sakura whispered before she fell asleep

"I love you to Sakura" Lee whispered looking down as his cherry blossom fell asleep. Knowing that when she woke up tomorrow, he would propose, and give her her happy ending
