Put a ring around her finger

There she was all dress up in white with a smile that put the sun to shame. Her family sitting front row watching there daughter and sister start her forever. Next to her was our best friend, who was smiling with tears in her eyes. I starred as he promised her forever love and put that beautiful gold ring she always dreamed of.
Today, she smiled for all the pictures
And he was right there with her
Making all the memories without me
And it hurts to say this out loud
Looks like she's really gone now
Three days later and here I was starring at the wedding pictures that her favorite magazine had published. Looking full of happiness the couple had posed with all their guests and family. I knew she was in a tropical island somewhere having the time of her life with her husband. I couldn't help but let the reality set in, she was happy without me. She could survive without me but I knew I wasn't gonna make it without her.

1 year later and I was sitting with my brother and his fiancé they got a phone call. She was going into labor with her and Liam first child. Demi ran out with Joe following her to the car. A few weeks later the proud godparents bragged about their beautiful goddaughter at a family dinner. My brother gushed about how adorable and smiley she was. Going on and on, on how much of a daddy's girl she was. Demi showed everyone her background which was her, Miley, Liam, Joe and baby Ronnie. I starred a little longer than I should of but I could help but be fascinated at the sight of the little girl. She had had her mothers eyes but her dads nose. She had light brown hair like her father, but full pink lips that's were a splitting image of her moms. She was beyond gorgeous and she wasn't mine.

That night I decided to visit the park where she and I had first declared our love for each other. I sat on the dark side of the park under a tree when I noticed a couple with a baby girl. As their figures disappeared I realized that she doesn't really miss me. She has a family who makes her complete. Miley found her new beginning. While I sit here and regret ever letting her go. Today was the saddest day of my life...
