I remember it like yesterday, it had to be the happiest day of my life. The we stood, the kings of Hogwarts, hell if you asked us then, we were the kings of the world as we were accepted in the real world. I close my eyes, remembering it like it was yesterday, the wind in my hair, was we through the bludger around on our brooms near the forbidden forest before the ceremony began. Then Moony, being the usual Remus, order us to stop, so we weren't late. Oh my friends. Oh my only family.

"Oh, Moony, we're only having fun!" Prongs exclaimed spinning upside down on his broom, being his average show off. Wormtail laughed in the nearly falling off his broom, only to catch him self before it could happen.

"Really look!" He pointed a long finger towers the crowed of 7th years passing in the hallway. The were dress nice, walking in groups of houses. Looking at then, it hit me, at the end of the summer, we wouldn't be returning. I wanted to cry at the point, but I need to keep my dignity and instead laughed at us. All 4 of us knew we wouldn't make in time. Prongs looked at me winking, laughing out loud, leaning forwarded on my boom, and we were off. Wormtail fallowed close behind, as Moony stayed back for a few seconds, not believing what we were doing.

We zoomed into the hallways, and zigzagged through the hallways, passing by first years that still didn't know there way around. Laughing loudly we caught up to the group of 7th years. Some of the students just stared at us, while more to the Slytherin house glared, but the greatest portion cheered. The Gryffindor and the Ravenclaw house mostly. We felt like heroes that just saved the world, well that is until we saw McGonagall's face, red in fury. She pointed towers the ground, as a demand to get off out brooms. Once off, something unexpressive happen; smiling she hugged us, one by one, and nodded us to join the group, as the doors open the great hall. We marched in perfect rhythm, thinking back, I truly wonder how many of us knew we're ready. Thinking of James' face, I knew deep down he wasn't, well until Lily took his hand. Then I knew he was truly happy.

We march to the front, years 1 to 6 looked at us with pure envy in their eyes, unaware how much we envied them, that we were scared and wanted to sit with them and never leave. I wish I never left. At the point I was going to cry, a hand landed on my shoulder, a hand of my best friend. I looked in to James face, he wore a smile, a real smile that made me feel safe, like I was ready to leave, that we all were ready. Like I child I held his hand, it was warm in mine. I always knew I loved him, he was my brother. I reached over next to me and grabbed Remus' hand, and him to Peter, while James kept an arm around Lily's waist. That was the happiest day of my life.
