I do not own Fable I/II/III in any way, shape, or form. My story is lightly based on Fable III, but will have many differences.
I will try to update every Thursday, whether in the morning or evening, I don't know.
Prologue
They were brothers, the four of them. One would not think them to be related, with such different skills and physical characteristics that held them apart from their kin. If one was to look hard enough, they would see that it was indeed true: those four boys were indeed brothers.
As any brothers would do, and as boys would do, they teased each other, ruffed each other up, and wanted to be adventures when they became old: a fearsome four, traveling the lands together, stopping evil at every turn, every path.
They never thought the evil would be their uncle.
The uncle was not a direct uncle. The boys and the man were very distantly related, hence the reason the boys were commoners, dwelling in Brightwall, while their uncle lived gloriously as king in Bowerstone.
He had not always been cruel. Power-hungry, as many would say. At the beginning of his reign over Albion, he had been loved, cherished. That all changed a year ago, when the boys were just reaching the ages of 15-18. That had grown fine in the art of their chosen weapons, and made an oath, a pact to one another. They would take down their uncle at no matter the cost.
As they began their journey, one year ago, they had expected the trip to be just the four of them. They didn't expect another being to join them – especially not a female. She was trained in the art of magic, and faint Will Lines were visible against her lightly tanned skin. They had told her to leave, that their journey was not one for a woman. Outraged at the gender discrimination she received from the males, she followed them, and noticed enemies ahead: few, but there were bandits. Cleverly, she crept past the group, as she had been behind them, and killed all the bandits with her pyromagic.
"'Bout time you got here." She had said, blowing across the tips of her finger nails as she cast a faint look in their direction as they strode of the hill. She had surprised them, and they soon agreed to let her come with them – although they mumbled about it in the beginning.
Now, they were family, the five of them. All with different specializations, all with the same goal.
