Chapter one memories

It was night time with the winter wind howling as a blizzard storming outside, everyone on Christmas day were enjoying their Christmas night with their families except two siblings. In the Blizzard there was a shadow moving slowly to get out of the blizzard it was a boy that is 9 years old covered in blood, he was carrying someone in his arm who too was covered in blood it was a girl about 4 years old. Then he kept on saying ," Why dad? Why" As he continued to walk down the street in the blizzard. He asked again in his head ,"Why did you do that Dad why?" Then the image disappeared and a boy suddenly jolted awake breathing heavily the boy was 14 and have shoulder length dark brown hair and dark green eyes that were widen in fear and shock, He then mutter ,"That incident keeps eating at my mind, it's keeps coming back" he got out of bed and moved to his dresser. My name is Yasashi Sora I'm 14 years old and I'm in school still until I go to U.A high entrance exam, I'm currently living with my best friend along with my little sister at their house. Why I'm living at my best friend's house well I got take a detour down memory lane to help you understand better it started 5 years ago…

Flash back 5 year ago June 20

Yasashi was in the kitchen helping his mom with Cleaning the dishes he is a really hard worker and loves helping out his family,

8 Year old Yasashi was a hard working boy his mother and Father always say he is such a kind and good boy helping around the house. Even though he don't have to and could go play with kids his age but he shook his head no and said ,"No thanks I'm happy being with you guys, my best friend Velvet and my little 4 year old sister Lyla" who was laying down on the couch, Yasashi went and joined his little sister on the couch. He shifts her so her head is lying on his lap then did circle motions on her forehead. Lyla then spoke up and asked " Is that you big brother?." he replied " Yes its me Lyla how you feeling today?." she replied with "I'm fine just bored." She went silent for a few minutes, asked shyly, "Hey big brother c-could you sing for me again I like your singing a lot" Yasashi then chuckled then said, "Of course anything for my little sister"

Yasashi then got up and got a glass of cold water from the kitchen, a few seconds later he came back and put it on the table in front of the couch and sat down again with his sister's head on his lap. He then asked , " You ready ill be singing peace sign today?" she nodded, he smiled gently and took a deep breath and exhaled as he began to sing.

I lie awake at night with these memories

Of feeling powerless and they're haunting me

Lyla loved it when her big brother sings for her, he has a beautiful strong voice and has a lot of confidents in his voice, then she said, "That was beautiful as always big brother!" he chuckled and said, "Thanks Lyla that means a lot" then he heard slow clapping and Yasashi looked over seeing their mother by the entrance to the kitchen clapping, she said, "That was beautiful you really got the voice" she then walked over to Yasashi then she messed up his hair making it stick up in several places. Yasashi whined about her messing up his hair as he tries to fix his hair, When his Mother said, "Well looks like someone is tired pointing at Lyla who fell asleep in his lap. Yasashi just smiled and removed her head from his lap and got up and picked her up gently then turned to their mother as he spoke up, "I'm going to put little Lyla to bed then turn in for the night" Cara nodded and watched as Yasashi carrying his sister disappear around the corner to the bedroom hallway. Yasashi and Lyla's mother then sighed as she talked to herself quietly, "they are so happy with each other despite the struggle we're in also with Yasashi's birthday tomorrow but with the money condition were in we can't even celebrate his birthday cause he wants Lyla's birthday to be the prime focus more then his" Then she got a idea! Her best friend said she would give a favor, since she helped once at the shop once anything she need would be as a favor, Cara then went to the phone dialed the number up and when her friend answered she asked, "Hey Tina could I cash in on that favor you gave me?" Tina replied, " Yeah sure, what ya need?" then Cara proceeded to tell Tina what she wanted to get for Yasashi for all his hard work around the house and to his sister as well. After a hour of planning and catching up Cara hung up the phone and went to go check up on her Children, when she got to Lyla room she opened the door slowly and peaked in what she saw was Adorable a rarity you see in siblings this young, there they were Lyla under the covers sleeping and Yasashi on top of the covers aside her, but that was not all. She was cuddling onto the right side of her Big brother's chest with a stuffed animal along with one of his arms wrapped around her shoulder gently with his other arm being used as a pillow for his own head. Cara adored the sight of her children getting along so well now she knew that what she got planned for Yasashi's birthday would be perfect!.

With Yasashi and Lyla

Yasashi reached the bedroom put Lyla onto her bed and covered her up then kissed her on the forehead and said, "Good night" As he was about to turn around he felt something grab his hand, he turned his head to Lyla who was awake she asked in a sleepy voice, "Could you stay with me just for this time only please?" Yasashi pondered on her question for a few moments then replied, "I guess I can stay with you for a hour" he then walked around the bed to the other side and laid down on top of the covers on the bed and got comfy with his left arm as a pillow. He felt Lyla get comfortable with her little head on his chest then she asked sleepily, "big brother? I was wondering what is your dream, your goal in life Yasashi?" He pondered on this question that Lyla asked him, he replied, " My dream is to be a hero like all the other kids but my goal as a hero is to provide for others like I do for you, and to protect my precious family and friend" such as you, mom, dad, and Velvet, that is my dream" She nodded and 10 minutes later she was fast sleep.

Yasashi then thought about his family My dream is to provide for my family at any cost that may come I remember when My sister Lyla was born and was diagnosed that she was blind, also that she was a fragile little thing, He helped out his dad and mom with anything that is needed help with, cleaning, garbage, groceries, and sometimes if needed help mother with bathing little Lyla who is stubborn as hell. But over the years his Dad went from kind, gentle and a prankster to cruel cold hearted man, he started losing motivation and lost his job, he started drinking beer and alcohol a lot and spending the Family's money that was being saved up when he thought Mom was not looking. But she knew what he been doing with the money, a few times Yasashi heard his mom and dad arguing in their room when they thought he went to bed and could hear every heard that was said, he don't want lose a family member but his dad is turning down a dark path. His dad once demanded him to get another beer while he was watching sports but Yasashi refused saying he had enough beer then he unexpectedly threw the beer bottle at him, He ducked and it shattered against the wall, which scared Yasashi and Lyla their mother Cara told them to go to their room and they did quickly then all they could hear was yelling and slamming on the walls. Yasashi finished his trip down memory lane and then fell asleep thinking tomorrow will be a good day.

The next day - June 21th

Yasashi was woken up to the sun blaring in his eyes he tried to move his right arm but couldn't budge it his little sister had a iron grip on his right side by cuddling to it with her stuff animal, he used his left arm's finger to poke her in the head to wake her up, but she would not budge so he looked over to the dresser and sees a glass of water. He closed his eyes and mentally commanded his Water element orb to appear. A ball of Azure blue appeared which he commanded it to enter his body. When it entered his body, his eye color turned to Bright blue along with his hair. As he used his power to lift the water up as it moved towards his sister's ear and then clench his hand which made the water turned into a small ice cube, then proceeded to put it in Lyla's ear which make her scream out of shock and fell off the bed. Yasashi looked over the bed and he broke out laughing at the look his sister was giving him. He got out of bed walked around to pick up Lyla into his arms and put her in his lap while he brushed her hair then put it in pig tails, then they went down to breakfast together Yasashi as well as Lyla gave their good mornings to their mom as they sat down at the table to eat. After 10 minutes of talking Yasashi got ready for school and ran out the front door Yelling, "See you later Lyla and mom!" as the door slammed shut. Cara then noted this is the time to get ready for Yasashi's birthday She rang up her Best friend Tina and asked her to come over then she called Velvet's parents to have them come help out as well, she wants this to be the best birthday for Yasashi so she then went to speak with Lyla about her brother's birthday.

Yasashi was walking to school humming a tune to himself enjoying the gentle breeze hitting his face and making his hair float gently, a few minutes later he made it to the front of the school yard and as he made his way to the school doors he felt himself being lifted up feet into the air which made him yelp in shock. He heard giggling and saw a long red hair girl with dark blue eyes wearing the school uniform of black pants and shirt with gold buttons.. it was Velvet!. Velvet was laughing at the shocked face on her best friend Yasashi's face it was so funny! She then said, "Good morning Yasa!, How was your night?" Yasashi replied, "It was alright but can you please put be back on the ground before you "accidently" drop me?" Velvet nodded then asked ,"straighten your body and have your arms out to grab my shoulders alright?" He nodded and did as she asked and she gently lowered him with her wind manipulation quirk and he put his hands on her shoulders as he is lowered down to the ground. He took a few deep breaths and asked. "Must you really use your quirk to put me in the air all the time Velvet?" she replied , "Yes I do it because it's so fun to see your reaction every time its worth it" She gave Yasashi a big hug which he returned with equal strength after 10 seconds they released and got to class.

In class

Yasashi and Velvet made it to class and sat in the back with some classmates that are usually quiet among them is a green haired green eye skittish classmate of theirs. A girl named Izumi Midoriya who sadly had no quirk but Yasashi and Velvet don't bully her about it like 98% of the class do, Yasashi spoke up to her quietly, "Good morning Izumi how was your night?" Izumi jumped out of her seat slightly and turned to her neighbor next to her and spoke with a stutter ,"I-It's was alright thanks" Yasashi nodded at the shy Girl with a smile, as Izumi smiled shyly back. Velvet grinned happily, she was glad Yasashi was opening up a bit more now before he wouldn't talk as much to his classmates except her because they are all bullies to the ones with no quirks, so he grew a dislike to the class except her and the target of bullying Izuku. A few minutes later the teacher came in and class began. awhile Later The teacher was reviewing who was going to U.a High,. again for the hero course. When He got to Bakugo. The explosion user was bragging and taunting the class again which made all of them Snap at him. When the Teacher said Izumi's Name Bakugo froze silently while Izumi made a eep sound, Bakugo slowly turned to Izumi with Explosions crackling and popping in his palm. When He was about to slam a Explosion right on Izumi Suddenly his body froze. The Explosion user felt his blood pumping and his heart beat Fastening, when he turned to the right and Saw Yasashi with his finger out stretched from his left hand with his hair color and eye color changed to Bright blue. Yasashi spoke up Calmly but Furious, "I warned you before Bakugo, Stop using your Quirk on Izumi for no reason, As Yasashi's out stretched finger started to curl in which Made Bakugo Heart rate go faster and faster as Bakugo's face started to go red, When the Teacher Said , " Yasashi Stop using your quirk this Instant and Bakugo sit down I don't want another broken Desk" Yasashi Glared at the teacher for letting the Bastard off scot free. Yasashi Released Bakugo from his Control and Class started up again after that.

7 hours later

Class was over as Yasashi and Velvet were going to a popular park nearby,

As they were walking Yasashi and Velvet just chat and joked around when Velvet asked, " so what you going to do at the park?" Hoping to Distract Yasashi from killing Bakugo Which worked . Yasashi smiled widely as he replied, "I'm going to sing for the folks there!" Velvet just smiled she knew Music is his Passion, so she nodded at him and they made it to the park. She cant wait to hear him sing again, Yasashi looked around and saw the park filled with people of various ages he grinned happily and went to the huge rock off to the side of the playground put a plastic bowl on the ground then got up on the rock. He took a few deep breaths in and out as well as took a drink of water, then he started to sing a bit for practice. The people at the park were enjoying the beautiful day at the park when they heard singing beautiful singing at that, everyone including the little kids walked to the direction of the singing and saw a boy no older then 9 years old singing on a huge rock with a bowl on the ground. Yasashi saw that he gotten a big crowd around him and got excited as he began to sing the song he chose today.

The crowd exploded with clapping and cheering as well some giggles from the little kids as the adults put money into the bowl on the ground as they kept on clapping and cheering Velvet was also cheering very loudly which he smiled at, A lot of them were asking for another song so he sighed and grinned and said, "Alright you want another song!, Well here you go!" as the cheers exploded even more.

Yasashi spent the next 2 hours singing for the crowd but it was time to go home after the last song he did so he grabbed the bowl and his eyes nearly popped out of his eye sockets at the amount of money the crowd awarded him with, Velvet came over and looked in and was shocked as well, he carefully put the money in his backpack with a lid sealed on the bowl and Gave his thanks to Everyone made his way home. As they were walking Velvet put her hand in Yasashi's hand and intertwine her fingers with his, Yasashi felt her hand intertwine with his and he blushed deeply but didn't make any moves to remove her hand. Velvet spoke up, "You were amazing today Yasashi your voice is really Beautiful." she said with a blush. Yasashi replied, "T-thanks Velvet" as they made it to his house they saw the lights were off which made him Cautious and they slowly made their way to the door and opened it slowly and walked in. Yasashi yelled out, "Hello anyone home?" then the lights turned on and with a combined yell everyone yelled, "Happy Birthday!" It was his mom sister and Velvet's parents, another adult male and a female who he don't know were in the corner. But Yasashi was in shock he was not expecting to have his Birthday celebrated in such a huge way as far as he knew they did not have enough money to get all the stuff he is seeing now, he can see a bundle of presents, pizza cake and a lot of other things as well. He spoke up, " H-How did you manage to get all of this!? Mother I know we did not have the money to afford all of this!" Cara spoke up, "I called in a favor from a friend she owed me one so I used this chance to cash in that favor, Lyla who was sitting on the couch Squealed and said, "Happy birthday Big brother Yasashi!" Yasashi let a huge smile appear on his face with some tears and ran over to pick up his little sister and spin her around as he said, "Thanks everyone, thanks a lot!. Now no time to Waste lets Party!" Everyone cheered and joined him in celebrating.

A hour later

After eating, laughing and talking his Mother called everyone into the living room and said, "Its time for my Baby boy Yasashi to open his birthday gifts, everyone gathered around and one by one they handed him his birthday gift they got for him, from Velvet he got a little necklace with half a heart on it, and her parents got him some new clothes and a big pair of Headphones, as well as mini music ipod that downloads music for him to listen. from the unknown adults who he learned were his mother's best friends they gave him some hoodies and new shoes that were red with a streak of green lightning pattern on them. Finally was his mother's gift. when she passed it over to him she spoke up, " I'm sorry but your dad… decided to disappear again and I don't know where he is but its better without him here this is my gift to you, it will help bring out your talents anymore and I want you to have it no take backs cause this is for all your hard work" Yasashi took the long package and opened it he gasped at it, It was a beautifully crafted wooden guitar with angel wings on the sides with the kanji for dreams on it. Yasashi spoke up, "M-mother I can't accept this how much did this even cost you or your friend!, i-I" His mother put her finger on his lips as she spoke. "Don't you worry about how much it costed my little Singer, you deserved this for all you did to help me cover rent and help me with your sister. Take it and make your second dream come true my little 'gentle sky" Yasashi started crying softly and hugged his mother and brought his sister into it as well everyone joined in on the hug. When they were done Yasashi handed her mother the plastic bowl with over 200 dollars in it saying, "take this mother use it for Christmas its my award for my music today, She tried to argue but she sighed as she smiled and nodded.

A few hours later

Yasashi was laying on his bed with his guitar by his wall he smiled at it and then closed his eyes while thinking, "Thanks everyone"

6 months later December 25

It was night time Yasashi and his little sister were playing outside in the snow waiting to be called in to the house to open their gifts for Christmas cause their Mother and father seemed to forgot to put them out under the tree, they decided to open them at night time so afterwards they be exhausted from excitement. As they waited they suddenly heard yelling inside the house, a bit scared the siblings went into the house to see what was happening they hid behind the couch silently as the parents continue to yell at each other, the mother was yelling, " You had no right to spend that money, that our son brought back! It was earned by him so we could get them Christmas presents for goodness sake!, and what did you do? You sent and spend it all on freaking drugs alcohol and other pointless crap!." The father then raised his voice as well, " Who do you think your yelling at?, I'm the boss in the house and what I do with the money is because I'm the boss of this house!. You don't own the house women nor does the little brats!" Cara looked shocked and then it turned the anger as she said, " you are such a irresponsible Father you don't even care for your own children's wellbeing nor their happiness!." the father shot back "who cares they are just brats I don't even car-." he was cut off by a kick to the balls from Yasashi! Who had tears in his eyes. Yasashi dad looks pained then Furious he screamed out, "That's it brat time to freaking die!" He pulled out a knife at same time his left hand sparked with explosive like sparks and tried to stab Yasashi but he got slammed into a wall by his Wife who was holding him there. Who said, " You dare use your quirk on my Children?" she turned to Yasashi who was by Lyla's side and picked her up she said, "Run kids go now your Dad cant listen to reason he is unreasonable and now he is trying to kill us, Run"

Yasashi picked up Lyla and ran upstairs to grab their emergency bags of cloths consisting of shirts, pants, underwear, shorts and sweaters and ration bars. And he grabbed his guitar as well and bolted down stair but Saw his mother struggling to hold down his dad now, his Dad who now had the advantage stabbed the knife into his wife's lung, which made Yasashi scream "No!" but his mother then said again weakly, "Run my children run go now before he uses his quirk!" as she collapsed.

Yasashi who was looking devastated ran out the door with his sister in his arms out into the now raging Blizzard. The father went to follow but was stopped by his Wife who was bleeding out grabbing his leg as she spoke, " I.. Will not let you harm my kids.. If I'm going down today I'm taking you piece of crap who is incarnation of cruelty with me!" The father felt his hand moving and realizing what is happening "Are you crazy!" he said "are you trying to make me use my alchemy Transmute quirk?" ,"yes I am" she said," I'm going to take you with me" as she said that. his hand glowed and his hand started to glow orange brightly. As he said, "Damn you!" Yasashi was running and trying to keep warm as he heard a giant explosion coming from his house he gasped at the blurry site from the blizzard then he faced forward and kept on moving to his targeted location. As he was close to the park he got kicked in the back making him drop Lyla as he was rolling and landed on his back. As His vision focused he can see the half burnt face of his father with flames licking around him, Yasashi was about to speak but was gasping in pain as his Father stomped his boot on his ribs, as his Father Spoke, " You really think you can escape me you brat your mother tried to suicide bomb me with the use of her manipulation quirk and made me use my explosion mix, but that backfired as she forgot I can use Transmutation to protect myself" Then he took out his knife and said, "Good bye my good for nothing son" he swung down the knife upon him and Yasashi closed his eyes, there was a sound of knife meeting flesh and a loud scream.. It was a girl's scream, he opened his eyes to see the knife sticking out of Lyla's chest.. Then the dad pulled out the knife and blood spurted everything, Yasashi sat up and caught his little sister as he said, "Why did you try to protect me? It's suppose to be me doing the protecting Lyla!. Why did you do that." with tears in his eyes. Lyla spoke up after coughing up blood " Why I did it?. Your always the one protecting me I know I'm blind but you don't got bear the weight of protecting me all the time, it made me feel useless that your always protecting me from everything… though I'm grateful, but I wanted to pay you back for everything you done for me… And here I am the one protecting you this time what I always wanted to do and I want say… thank you big brother" Lyla collapsed and Yasashi got on his kneels and tried to keep her awake but she was fading. Yasashi felt something that he never felt before… Rage!. His rage brought forth his Fire orb which entered his body and make his Eyes color go blood red and his hair turned blood red The father said, "well that's one brat down now time for yo-" he got interrupted by a large fireball, that was not suppose to be that strong from Yasashi but his anger and adrenaline was kicked in make it bigger and the Dad was sent back all the way down the street back to where he came from and a big boom was heard, Yasashi gasping for air turned his attention back to his sister who was dying at his kneels he willed what flames he had to make a circle around them to keep warm and willed the water in the air to make a big barrier around them to keep the blizzard out, He carefully brought his little sister's shirt up to her neck to see the damage, he put his ear to her heart and heard a faint thumping that is fading. He then yelled out, "don't die please Lyla! your all I have left now!" With his left hand on her heart to try and keep the blood in but he closed his eyes and cried out on despair. But unknown to him a light green flame was going from his arm into his little sister, the glow got stronger which made him open his eyes he gasped as he said the wound closing and the blood vanishing, Color was returning to her face, he quickly put his ear against her heart and heard strong thumps inside, she is alive but still weak. He picked up her hastily and started to run to his best friend's house.

At velvet's house

Velvet has awoken in the middle of the night to get a drink of water when she heard banging on her house's front door, groaning she went to open it and what shocked her was the sight of her Best friend all bloody with his little Sister in his arms who too was bloody he spoke 3 words before collapsing, " Please help us" and fainted.

Flashback ended

Yasashi in present time was getting dress in his uniform as he finish saying, " After that we recovered after being a sleep for 3 days for both of us at the Hospital, we were offered to stay at Velvet's house and we accepted but Our father is still alive out there but for now ill wait. Because soon is the UA hero entrance exam and me and Velvet will ace it to become heroes"

He ran downstairs and out the door with Velvet behind him in a white shirt with a blue skirt, she said, "you ready for this" he nodded and grinned as he said, "lets do this." as they ran into the distance morning.

Somewhere else

In a dark alleyway, footsteps were heard as they get closer and closer they stopped in front of a door and the person knocked, the person waited when the door opened a man with a shadowy mist like face with yellow eyes in a waiter like suit was there. The shadow man spoke ,"So you have finally arrived?, Please come in The boss is ready to speak with you, Conner Sora." The now revealed Conner Sora, former father of Yasashi Sora and Lyla Sora grinned and said ," Thank you." as he walked in, He moved to in front of the Tv as it turned to a man in a type of skull man attached to cords and wires. The masked man spoke ," So you wish to join the League of Villains? Why?." Conner spoke ," I wish to destroy superhuman society of the hero system for Fun, that's all as I have a powerful Quirk that is Useful to you, The quirk to Control the elements a power dubbed Cataclysm due to its immense power when nurtured right" The man in the mask spoke up again ,"That is indeed useful… Very well Welcome to the League of Villains, Conner Sora" the Man grinned and said ,"thanks to you too… All for one"
