Pansy had always found his fiery red hair attractive. But from the start he was classified as enemy territory.

Why? Well, he was best friends with Harry Potter, and she was best friends with Draco Malfoy, the resident enemies of Hogwarts.

But Pansy was nearing combustion. Six years of hidden feelings suddenly became too much. And so she devised a plan.

Ron walked alone through the hallway one evening after dinner. It was a rarity that he wasn't with his friends but he needed some time alone to breathe. He was about to walk past a small dark alcove in the hall when Ron found himself being grabbed and thrown into it and shoved up against a wall. He then felt a female body against his own and soft lips crash onto his.

Ron was startled at first, but before he did anything in protest, he realised that this was more action than he'd had in months and so did nothing to stop it. But who on earth could it be?

Ron was amazed at how well their lips fit together, how minty she tasted, how their tongues brushed up against each other and how she was dominant. How for some reason it felt absolutely magical. Ron's arms even circled around her waist as they continued.

Eventually their need for air overcame the magic and they parted, both panting heavily from the passion of the kiss. Pansy immediately detached herself from him and stood against the far wall still covered in darkness. Ron's curiosity got the better of him and he reached for his wand in order to lighten up the alcove. Pansy heard his shuffling and stopped him before he said the spell.

"Please don't." She whispered.

"Why not?" He asked. Pansy looked up in the darkness.

"You hate me." She whispered simply.

"Not after that! That was… that was… that was brilliant!"

"No, you'll never like me." Tears started forming in Pansy's eyes and slowly escaped down her cheeks.

"Please tell me who you are." There was silence besides Pansy's sniff. "I'm going to light my wand. If you don't want to be found out, you can go and I'll remember you always as the mystery girl who's one heck of a good snogger. But… please, stay." Ron was silent for a moment listening for the sound of footsteps walking away. However, none ever came. "Lumous.(sp?)" He said clearly and a bright light illuminated from his wand. He gasped as he saw who was standing there. It was Pansy Parkinson, the best friend of Draco Malfoy. He stepped towards her but she fixed him with a hard glare.

"I told you." She said quietly and went to leave the alcove.

"P-Pansy, wait!" He called after her. She stopped a short distance down the hallway but did not turn around. Ron made his way over and stood in front of her. As he wiped her tears with his thumb, he looked deep into her eyes. "You were wrong." He said after a moment. She had a look of confusion on her face but didn't respond. "I do like you." He cupped her cheek in his hand and kissed her with sweet gentleness that she would never forget.
