Toshiro, Annabelle

Annabelle finished helping Toshiro with the paperwork and went to check on Rangiku... "WAKE UP!" She yelled. "What?!" Rangiku woke up from her nap. "Finish that work your you'll be here for another night." Annabelle said.

Rangiku complained but Toshiro laughed. "You are like the monster under the bed to her." He said.

"Really? I think I'm more like my mother. Always telling her what to do. If I was a monster I would have taken all her beer stash from her room." Annabelle said.

Toshiro smiled. "I don't know how you do it. But thank you." He said.

Annabelle smiled back. "What would you do without me? I'll always be here when you need me." She said.

Toshiro believed that. "That should do it. I'll head to the kitchen and get Rangiku something to eat." Annabelle said.

Toshiro nodded. Annabelle left the room. And Toshiro could now finally check his drawer. Seeing the box inside he felt like this was the right time to give it to her.

"Toshiro?" Annabelle was quick. "Yes?" "What are you doing?" She asked. "Nothing. Just...A gift." He said.

"A gift? For who?" Annabelle asked.

Toshiro sighed. "Well, for you. I planned a whole day of when I would give it to you." He explained.

"Oh. Okay Then...I'll wait." Annabelle smiled. "Just, what is this gift for?" Annabelle asked.

"For...helping me with Rangiku. The paperwork. Everything. You've been more helpful then anyone in my squad." Toshiro said.

Annabelle smiled. "Thanks. In advance. I love being helpful to you."

Toshiro smiled. "And that's why I got you this. But...I want to give it to you at the right time." He said.

Annabelle hugged him. "I'll always be here. For you. I'll stay as long as you need me." She said. Kissing Toshiro's cheek.

"Annabelle." He was blushing a little pink shade.

"I love you too stupid." She giggled.

Toshiro grinned a little. "And I do to. But I'll say it when I give you that gift. Just wait a little longer." He said.

"Alright. I'll wait for you. Always." She whispered.
