A/N: Why I got this idea not even I know, but I hope you all enjoy it. Another one-shot. This takes place before you fight Kratos in the end, in that crazy woods puzzle thing.
"Damn it! Why is Da- Kratos doing this? Isn't there some other way?" Lloyd asked himself looking down. Even after that little pep talk with Presea, he still had his doubts. Raine sighed to herself, as she led the group in the direction she believed to be the right way.
"Lloyd, if you don't calm yourself, you won't be able to fight properly," Regal said, oblivious to the fact Lloyd wasn't listening to him.
"That jerk, I don't want to fight him," all the while Presea was plotting something, she knew exactly how to cheer up Lloyd. While everyone was distracted, she took Lloyd by the hand, him not noticing since he was to busy ranting, and led him away. No one noticed.
After an hour of wondering around aimlessly, Presea finally concluded this was a bad idea.
"I mean, what kind of father wants to fight his son to the death!? I swear he reminds me of Asch the bloody sometimes!" Presea sighed to herself.
"This was not how I imagined my romantic dateā¦" she looked around at her surroundings, and noticed that they were surrounded by large logs, many, many logs, "now that's strange," she said to herself. Lloyd sighed to himself.
"Maybe I should just make something to calm my nerves. That always works," he muttered to himself as he went to the nearest log and started cutting it with a carving knife.
"Lloyd, I wanted to have a picnic with you," she said feebly as she showed him the picnic basket, that came from no where. He wasn't paying attention to her. He just kept on cutting.
And cutting.
And cutting some more.
Presea sighed to herself, noticing Lloyd was still ranting. She sighed to herself and decided just to sit next to him when she noticed something.
He just made a rectangular table large enough for two, in five minutes.
"Wow," was all she could say, but he didn't stop there. As he was ranting, he didn't notice himself as he quickly made two chairs as well. She smiled to herself. This has to be, this must be destiny. The world wanted them to have a romantic dinner together. She quickly set up the table and chairs, and sat down on one side, staring lovingly at Lloyd.
"What do you think Pre-" his eyes widened mid sentence, he didn't even notice he made all this, and now Presea was looking at him weirdly, "Uh, Presea what are you staring at?" he asked with worried, she never looked at him like that before.
"Lloyd," she purred, "come and eat with me," before him on the table were sandwiches, apple pie, fruit juice, and of course a blanket covering the table.
"Um, okay," he blushed, but he oddly liked this. He sat down, and started eating. He looked at Presea, and noticed something odd.
She hadn't touched her food.
All she did was stare at him, with an odd look on her face, almost, lovingly. Lloyd's eyes widened in realization. And he noticed something.
He didn't mind that look at all.
