She was hungry. But even that very sentence was a joke. She was beyond hungry. She was starving. Wandering out of her room, she snuck into the kitchen, wary of the sleeping troll lounging on her couch. She'd hate to wake him up, not just for him yelling at her, but it actually looked really peaceful and calm asleep. As much as she was starved, his sleeping form still beckoned to her.
Jade in all her sense questioned her sanity the minute she approached said troll and looked over his form. He was taller than her, sadly, even though it'd seemed she was at a taller height a few years ago but apparently he had a growth spurt. His horns however, didn't get affected and still were at their cute nubby shape.
She leaned over him, attempting not to fall over and wake him up, but knowing her clumsy matter, it'd happen eventually. Jade finally brushed a few strands of hair out of face with her delicate fingers and hoped he hadn't sense the touch. She felt like such a stalker and facepalmed to herself, before giving a weak smile and about to turn away from the couch and walk back into the kitchen.
However when she twisted her foot to move away, she lost her footing and with a thud, she landed right on Karkat and squealed with said motion and she waited for the screaming to begin.
"What the fuck Harley? I can't even sleep without you being a ditz."Karkat did not move her though while she just sat on his chest looking flustered and embaressed. "Sorry Karkitty. ..You just looked so. . .happy when sleeping."
"Really? You think I'm happy sleeping alone?"
Jade tilted her head, a bit confused by his response. "What. ..?"
With a swift movement, Karkat wrapped his arms around Jade's waist and pulled her down, removing his arms, he firmly held her in his embrace. "Oh, uh. ..if you wanted to take a nap with me, you could have asked. .."Jade still was lost for words mainly because he was never this affectionate with her. Karkat just rolled his eyes and with a huff, caught her lips in a nice sweet kiss.
Wow Jade, c'mon kiss baaaccckk. Jade wrapped her arms around Karkat's neck and kissed back, after backing said kiss, Karkat nuzzled into her neck and whispered;
"I love you."
She blushed heavily again before pecking his cheek and repeating said sentence, "Love you."
