so this is just a quick little intro to an idea ive had kicking around in my head for a while. o own none of these charcters or places or ideas or anything, its all tite kubos work. more on the way probs, hope you all enjoy, spot any mistakes just send me a message.
Szayelaporro Granz was no stranger to betrayal; in the eternal night of the desert of Hueco Mundo it was kill or be killed, survive or die and he was a survivor after all. Joining Aizen ha a few plusses, he would become even more powerful, able to kill practically any hollow in the wasteland except the few above him and he would get a new state-of-the-art lab do do whatever experiments came to mind. There were of course downsides as well, he would have to work with a bunch of idiots who had no sense of fashion or interest in his amazing sciences and of course, he have to work under a man perhaps more insane then himself but, hey, you gotta do what you gotta do.
Aizen had always known Ichigo would be powerful, it was why he had singled him out when he was a child. He would never admit it to anyone but he's always wanted a protege, he'd thought he might've found it in Gin at first but he was never sure about wether he could trust him. When Aizen had given Szayel a sample of Ichigos reiatsu he was already pretty sure what the results were going to be but what he didn't account for was the growth rate of the boys reiatsu. When Szayel came before him with the results he didn't believe them, the boys power couldn't be growing at such an incredible rate, it shouldn't even be growing at all, there are limits to a persons power, you couldn't just gain more as you went, Aizen was sure that Szayel had messed up the results somehow and sent him back to retest and put the entire thing out of his kind, maybe if he had listens they wouldn't be in this mess
