I've had a pretty good life so far, traveling in this car with my two buddies. The driver's name is Leonardo, but we call him Leo. The girl in the passenger's seat is named Emerald. Me, my name is Mercury, Mercury Black. The 3 of us have been traveling for about 4 years together. This car is our home. We aren't traveling anywhere exactly; we just go where we want to go. Right now we are traveling to the city of Atlas to visit museums and explore the area as well as wreak havoc. We are coming from Vale because we wanted to visit Mountain Glenn. As we were driving along a quiet road I see a shadow.
"Stop!" I shout.
Leo slams on the brakes. "Why did I do that?" he asks.
"Because I saw a shadow" I said.
The moon shone bright on the road.
"I think it's a kid!" Leo says.
I climb quickly out of the car. I slowly walked closer to the trees where the kid stood. "It is!" I yell back to them.
The kid was shivering underneath one of the trees. She had rags covering her ripped clothes and her hair looked like a rat's nest. There was old food stuck to her face and a mostly empty backpack sitting on the ground. She looks like she is about nineteen years old. I come closer and she hisses at me.
"Fuck!" I yell.
When I scooted back, I had ran into an old rusty wheelbarrow.
"Would you like to come into our car?" I ask. "It's warm and there is food"
She nods shyly.
I take her into the car and Emerald gaspes.
"Cinder is that you?" Emerald says quietly.
"Yes" she says slowly.
Emerald pulled her into a hug. "I thought you were dead! We have to tell your parents!"
"No" she says desperately. "I don't ever want to go back there!"
"I'm going to call your mom" she says.
She knocks the phone out of of his hand and it shatters on the floor. "I said I don't want to go back there!" She screams.
She took a knife out of the backpack she brought. She targets Leo. He screams super loud but we are in the middle of nowhere so no one can hear us. She stabs him in the chest and blood soaks his white shirt. He gasps one more time and then goes quiet. She steals money, food and a blanket and runs out of the car into the woods. Me and Emerald sadly sigh and look at Leo's dead body.
"He shouldn't have died", I said.
"Agreed", said Emerald.
We drag the body out of the car and continue to drive to the city of Atlas.
"Should we tell her mom that she is alive?"
"No." Emerald says. "It would probably make her mom even more depressed."
"Let's go enjoy Atlas!" I yell!
"Yeah!" Emerald said excitedly!
And we drove off, leaving a dead body in the middle of this country road.
