Note: This is my first fan-fiction that I am posting - I won't lie, I'm a little nervous... Any feedback, good or bad is very much appreciated!
Standing in Christians flat, Syed looked at him, the man he loved so much that it physically hurt; and realised that he was so wrong to ever leave. Maybe Christian would never of been attacked if he hadn't of left. They would of gone for Syed, left Christian alone… but now he had to look at Christian, covered in cuts and bruises and know that it was his fault he was hurt like this. Everything was his fault.
"Christian please, I'm sorry for everything… I just… I had to see you." Syed said in no more than a whisper, reaching out hesitantly to touch his face. Christian stepped away before Syed reached him.
"It's too late Syed. I want you to leave." Christian had a hard edge to his voice, an edge that told Syed he meant what he was saying. He couldn't leave though. It wasn't because he didn't have anywhere else to go, although that was true, and it wasn't because he was ashamed of admitting that Christian no longer wanted him to whoever took him in; it was simply because he couldn't stand the thought of being away from him.
Syed ignored Christians demand for him to leave and walked over to the sofa, laying down on it silently, curling into a ball with his eyes screwed shut. Tears slipped down his cheeks as he pulled his knees in even closer. He was exhausted; tired of being scared to come home, tired of walking the streets looking for somewhere to stay each night, and exhausted of fighting with Christian. All he wanted was to have Christian wrap his arms around him and tell him everything was going to be okay. But he knew he couldn't do that; because they didn't know everything was going to be okay. Syed slipped into an uneasy sleep, his last thought of how glad he was to be in the comfort of Christian's flat, even if he didn't want him there.
